  1. I posted this to the TP-Link forum. Have not got a response yet, but i though I might as well post it here to be a little more specific and maybe you can help me after all. Anyways here it is: I Just installed the Archer T6E in my new desktop. I installed the drivers as it's supposed, but the internet is super slow. I'm getting between 100 and 300 kbps on this desktop while I get 50 - 100 Mbps (note the M) on my macbook while sitting at the same desk. The weird thing is, when I check the reception in the windows wifi status dialog, it says it receives between 20 and 50 mpbs (which is also not that much but at least like 10 times better. But when I do a speed check it only goes up to 300 kbps. When I run network diagnostics I finds this problem: "Your computer appears to be correctly configured but the device or resource (DNS Server) is not responding. I hope anybody can help me out with this.
  2. It worked. But the receiver seems to be quite weak. So week that I think there must be something wrong. My macbook receives 97mbps while this desktop get 190kbps. So thats quite the difference? Anybody know what I might be doing wrong? I installed the driver correctly as far as I'm concerned..
  3. Okay, that great. I'll try it and let you know if it worked. Thanks for the quick responses y'all!
  4. Haha the build was pretty expensive, but the I saved some on the graphic card which is a NIVIDIA Geforce GT 1030. I'm not much of a gamer and rarely edit video. It's meant more for audio production.
  5. Oh sorry, now that I read it I'm a bit vague indeed haha. Its a PCI Express wifi card. The TP-Link archer T6E too be precise. It only fits the PCIEX1 slot (the small one) precisly, but I haven't tried if it fits the bigger ones. Are you sure it will work in a slot that is bigger? I don't want to mess things up and I'm not too experienced with this sort of stuff
  6. Hey, I just bought a new desktop and it contains the asus prime x299 motherboard. It was built for me but I forgot to include a PCI card. So I wanted to install it myself but the card is super close to the fan of my gpu. At least I think its the gpu. One component even obstrucs the fan so it can't spin properly. Do I have any options? Like move my GPU to another PCIEX16 slot? I'm afraid it will mess up the configuration that the people who built it did to the pc.
