  1. Just out of curiosity though, do you have a 240 or 360 mm aio that you would reccomend?
  2. Reading that outloud now makes me realize how stupid that sounds... sorry for wasting your time...
  3. No, I cant do that without it voiding the warranty. I bought it pre build from nzxt letsbld website. I don't want to mess with anything unless I'm sure I'm going to replace something
  4. This is my current build. It runs around 80 degrees celcius normally but has been getting hotter and hotter recently. Got a warning three days ago that it was up to 122 degrees celcius and could damage my computer. I game for at least 6 hours a day on it. @boggy77 was super helpful and recommended me 4 different ones but not sure which one to go for.
  5. As mentioned, it's been recommended that I upgrade to a 360mm aio but havent ever built a pc myself. I would like to get some recommendations as the which ones are the easiest to install and are around $150 or less.
  6. It was originally Icam by nzxt. I installed afterburner immediately afterwards to crank the gpu fan up to max to see if that would help. It did a bit but I'm still not comfortable that it got anywhere near that high
  7. Yeah that's correct. I use msi afterburner as well as Icam. From what others are saying is that 80 degrees celcius is okay but that just what its normally at. Three days ago I got a warning that it was at 122 degrees celcius and that if I didnt turn it off it could damage the system. That's when I knew I had to upgrade.
  8. Hi, so as the title mentions, my pc tends to run super hot. I generally game for 6+ hours a day at least and my temperatures of my pc can get up into the 80s celcius. And as I understand that's not good for it at all. I think I want to get an aio cooler and possibly more case fans but am not really sure where to start. Ideally I would like to stay under $300 usd but can go over if necessary. I have attached what my current build is now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  9. I didnt, this is what he paid for it about 6 months ago. I guess it was right before the rtx supers were announced. I paid 1500 for it
  10. Hi so I recently bought a build from one of my friends, but really need to upgrade the cooling, storage, and potentially add more ram. Right now it has these parts ( in picture) I want to get a decent aio cooler that is relatively cheap but could really use recommendations on which one as well as more case fans becuase I only have 3 atm. If theres anything else you guys would reccomend changing please let me know, thanks!
  11. So I really like this one, but have one question. Could I swap out the motherboard for an asus rog maximus x hero? Or would that not work with the other parts?
  12. It's a 3rd gen i5 I believe. I'll have to double check when I get home, but almost everything needs an upgrade. It was my friends budget build from a while ago.
  13. So I've never built a computer before, and need to build a high fps rig for fortnite. I was top 200 yesterday in the world cup, and one of my friends recommended upgrading to a new PC seeing as my current one is using a 980gtx and barely gets 90fps. Preferably I would like to at least double that. I have a budget of 2000 usd but can over up to 2200 if needed. I really have no clue what I'm doing here so please send help.
