  1. I'm using it on regular fans at the moment, and they're all working fine. But I'm not sure if I plug it into RGB fans. Will Gigabyte's RGB fusion (or any adressable RGB driver) work on them? Or will I not be able to control their lighting/colors?
  2. So I have a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite motherboard and I'm planning to buy 4 rgb fans that take either 3pin or molex connectors, avoiding the really expensive NZXT/Corsair ones with the rgb controller for its price tag, and also avoiding those with a remote controller. Now, I already have one of those 3pin splitter cables, where it splits from 1 to 5 different 3pin connectors. Will this work with Gigabyte's RGB fusion on each fan, since all of them will theoritically be connected to the same 3pin header on the motherboard?
  3. I'm from Greece. My budget right now is: 200 bucks for Motherboard (AM4) + Case + Fans/Accesories. And around 400-500 bucks for GPU/CPU for when AMD announces its new models (If Navi ends up being out of my reach, I think I'll end up with an RX 590). I already have the RAM (16GB Crucial Ballistix), the storage (SSD Crucial + HDD Seagate) and a PSU (Be Quiet 600W 80 plus bronze). I'll probably be looking for the new Ryzen 5 models to decide. Unless the new Ryzen 3 is equal to the current Ryzen 5 and I can put the extra bucks into the GPU.
  4. I don't have a specific site or store that I look at. I'll be buying from a random retail store in my country. My other 2 choices were: https://www.gigabyte.com/gr/Chassis/GB-C200G#kf https://en.sharkoon.com/product/TG5#specs I also looked into the NZXT H500i, but I won't be watercooling, and I've heard it's really good only if you are. EDIT: Forgot to mention: the reason that I'm really looking into the Sharkoon cases (besides that I have Sharkoon mech keyboard/mouse/headset and I'm really satisfied with them, so I trust the company overall), are because they include the RGB fans, so it saves quite a few bucks, if you think that each fan costs around 15-20 bucks, while most cases (like the Gigabyte above), would require me to buy at least 4, which would cost almost 60-70 bucks extra which I could invest elsewhere.
  5. Hey guys, I'm new to this whole PC-RGB enthusiast stuff. I'll be upgrading my setup soon (waiting for 3rd gen amd cpus and navi gpus) and I've been looking into potential computer cases that look decent and are affordable. So I was looking into these 2: https://en.sharkoon.com/product/PURESTEEL#specs https://en.sharkoon.com/product/NIGHTSHARK#specs Now my first obvious question is: These both cases can fit 3 bottom intake fans, 2 side panel intake fans, and 1 exhaust (the bottom case has included 2 front intake fans aswell). Which means that the case will be using 5-7 intake fans and 1 exhaust fan. From what I learned by reading these forums and watching Linus/Jay/Kyle on youtube, the best airflow solution is to have a balanced number between intake and exhausts. So how bad will the airflow be? My other question would be: It seems that the PSU shroud on top does not have a vent on the top of the case. And it does not have one on the bottom of the shroud either. Which means that there is no air going directly into the PSU fan. There might be some space between the shroud ceiling and the psu fan, but the air will have to go into the shroud from the very front of the case and move all the way to the back of the shroud for that to work. It's just that I've heard PSUs should be always on the bottom and never on the top, which I don't know how true it is. I will not be watercooling. I'll most likely be using the stock AMD cooler since from my experience they tend to be really solid, and I will not be overclocking anything, at least not planning to at the start, might see in the future. Thanks for your time.
