  1. So I got this system from my church because they got a new computer and didn't need this one anymore and I wanted to install Linux Manjaro on it just for fun so I made the bootable USB and was going to do so. The only problem is in order to do that you have to disable secure boot from the BIOS, but everytime I disable it and save changes it re-enables for some reason. I tried updating the BIOS to the lastest version thinking that might help but it sadly didn't. The system in question is a HP 110-210 running Windows 8.1 Do you guys know of a way I can get around this? If so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Yeah that’s what I was doing before was just mashing F12 and trying to boot from the usb
  3. Okay I will try that when I get back to my laptop, thanks for the help my dude??
  4. Well I set the usb drive to boot first but then it just instantly goes to the automatic repair. I recently used the usb drive to install windows on my desktop so I don’t think it’s the usb’s fault.
  5. So, I have this old Dell laptop that had windows 8.1 on it and I was tired of how freaking slow it was so I wanted to install windows 10 on it. The system was pretty much unusable so I formatted the hdd, got a bootable usb drive with the windows 10 installer on it and tried to install windows. But whenever I turn my laptop on and try to boot from the usb drive it completely ignores my choice and goes into this automatic repair mode and try’s it’s best to recover the old windows, but there isn’t anything on the hard drive so idk why it’s doing this. I’ve been googling this issue for a while now and can’t find a solution to my problem. If you guys have any tips or advice I would great appreciate it. Also I’m somewhat new here and I wasn’t 100% sure if this is where I should post this problem, so feel free to yell at me for posting in the wrong section.??
  6. But is there something I can do to fix it? I mean if an adapter is what I need I'll happily get one
  7. I have a gigabyte a320m s2h, a ryzen 3 2200g, and a RX 570
  8. So, I just installed a new graphics card in my system, and after doing so I can only get video output from the card. I really need to output to a monitor with VGA from my motherboard and my graphics card doesn't have VGA, it only has HDMI, DVI, and couple of display ports. I have no idea why it won't work, any help would be greatly appreciated.
