  1. Do you think even after complete wipe, that problem can still persist?
  2. I've been using the same ssd. I'll have to buy a new one and give it a shot.
  3. I keep getting this screen. I used windows media to do a fresh install. Wiped all my drives and still nothing. It gives different files are corrupt. This pictures for example, sometimes it Kernel missing or corrupt. Please help!
  4. If I am not allowed to post this, can an admin please delete and let me know? Thanks. Just want opinions from people to see if this actually helpful as I'm always sceptical of these "guides"
  5. Believe it or not, I've the exact same memory setup. I've two pairs of Gskill RipJaws DD4 one @ 3200 other @ 3000. Each stick is 8GB. My question is, is it better to use just one of the faster pair instead of both? Or will using both sets benefit more with the extra bandwidth? I plan to OC memory. I mostly use PC for gaming. CPU is Ryzen 2700X @ 3.7Ghz, non OC
  6. Cinabench didnt give any stability issue. Ran the test half a dozen of times. Is there any other stress/stability test specifically for RAM that you know of? Preferably free to download.
  7. I know it's not the best tool but I used Cinebench after OC-ing ram and went from 3600-ish score to 3860. Generally speaking, is this considered a good improvement?
  8. Hey all! I have got this "new" laptop (open box from Best Buy), that since the windows update gives this pop up error when opening windows explorer for the first time after boot (please see attached). There was a solution online to remove to delete iexplorer.exe from a directory but that did not help either. Any ideas how to resolve this?
  9. I was kinda thinking the same. Is that a decent speed/timing for what I was able to OC?
  10. No timing configuration was gibing me a stable ram at 2933. However I was able to get stable at 2866Mhz, 14-15-15-15-36, 1.34V. I was going to try lowering the voltage but I am not sure. Boosted the power limit of GPU to 120% with MSI afterburner. Also, I was wondering if I should OC the CPU but I am already getting the max fps my 144hz 1080p monitor can display. I dont think OC-ing the CPU will be worth the little gain I might have. Thoughts?
  11. Definitely running faster but it keeps crashing after a certain amount of time lol Just the game, not pc
  12. So I am able boot with both kits installed at 2933mhz (a-xmp on) with 15-15-15-15-36. Any higher speed or lower latency is not letting it boot. I was able to go much lower latency at lower speed: 2133mhz 12-12-12-12-36. Both drawing 1.344v at auto Stock CPU speed at 3.4Ghz It appears to be running stable but I haven't done any stress testing.
  13. Would you say it is better to use just one 16GB 3200 kit rather than both 3200 & 3000 kit?
  14. @Sorenson so I have two kits of ram, one 3000 and other 3200. So I am assuming I'll have to throttle both at 3000?
