  1. Hi All, I've started having a super strange issue with my PC - 5820k @4ghz, 32gb quad ram 3000mhz (xmp1) 2080ti founders edition... Basically a few weeks ago I was playing a game with an xbox one wireless controller and ALL of my USB ports died - the computer continued running and I could shutdown with the power button but my headset/mouse/keyboard would not work, could not move them to other ports, they were all dead. After a ton of tshooting i discovered that the issue only happens when the xbox wireless adapter is plugged in to my computer - even if im not using the controller it will still happen. I've replaced the usb hub, tried a handful of usb ports, replaced the adapter to the smaller 2018 version etc... and even with the new adapter it immediately happens. I updated my bios to 2.07 and reformatted to windows 10 1903 from 1809 and the issue still persists. Additionally, if I used the controller wired to the PC, the issue does not occur either. This does not EVER happen when the adapter is unplugged... I'm at a loss of what to do - the only common denominator at this point is my motherboard which of course is over 3 years old so it is no longer in warranty but just looking for any other possible thoughts before i consider replacing it. I see no windows events related to usb controllers or the xbox controller adapter, additionally i've totally reset my BIOS to clear out overclocks etc... and it still happens... Thanks
