  1. I've reinstalled it several times now and formatted my USB installer every time. Still nothing unfortunately, I've left the computer on for a couple hours now and it's still frozen. I'm not sure how relevant this might be but every time it freezes, the fan in the computer ramps up to full speed for several seconds before coming back down to normal. Edit: I've also run the tests from the Lenovo hardware diagnostic tool and they've all come back positive.
  2. I've been trying to boot into a fresh install of Ubuntu Server version 22.04.1 on my Lenovo Thinkcentre M73 Tiny 10AY on a brand new Crucial MX500 1 TB SATA SSD. After going through the installer and removing the USB installer, I've tried booting into Ubuntu through the GNU Grub menu and it freezes every time it gets to the line "[OK] Reached Target Local Encrypted Volumes". I've tried all sorts of stuff from suggestions online: -Adding the nomodeset boot option in grub -A couple different bios versions -Changing RAM sticks -Making sure Secure Boot is disabled in bios -Making sure SATA is configured as AHCI in bios I have also tried running version 22.10 of Ubuntu Server and it still freezes on boot albeit on a different line, I have had an older version of Ubuntu on this computer in the past but the old SSD was seemingly failing. I have added a picture of my screen when it freezes during boot. I would appreciate any suggestions
  3. Thanks for the suggestion, however, it didn't resolve the issue.
  4. I copied this from my reddit post All 3 of my desktops are on Win 10 pro, one for my Minecraft server, my main one, and my sister's pc, my laptop is on Win 10 home. Apparently all the desktops on my LAN have stopped working with remote desktop. The problem first occurred a day ago when remote desktop lost connection while I was remoted into my server pc from my main pc. I tried using my sister's desktop to remote in to either one and that also failed. then I tried vise versa but that still failed. However, my laptop connected through wifi is able to remote into every pc. I've tried disabling firewall on all computers and that didn't work. Command Prompt shows that none of the desktops are able to ping each other, only themselves. Meanwhile, command prompt on my laptop is getting positive ping tests to every desktop, not from them, however. This was working fine a day ago, until remote desktop just lost connection. When I did lose connection, my main pc lost network connection so I suspect that did something to remote desktop, however, that doesn't explain why my sister's pc also won't work with remote desktop. so in the end, none of the desktops are able to remote into eachother, only my laptop is able to remote in. I forgot to mention that remote desktop gives me the three generic reasons for not being able to remote in from the desktops
  5. I run into issues where my friends can hear their own voices and my video echoes through my mic too.
  6. I've tried reinstalling drivers but unfortunately it doesn't work.
  7. It lets me retask my connectors, however, the port that I use is already labeled "Headphone" even though it makes no difference when classifying my actual headphones. I've messed with the settings in there and it didn't do anything.
  8. You're correct, the headphone jack on the back of the PC
  9. Here's a screenshot of what my Realtek Audio Console looks like
  10. My Sounddriver version is 6.0.1.8591 and my UI Version is 1.2.159.0 I believe i'm using the HD audio plug for my case, however, I don't think it matters since I've plugged my headphones directly into the motherboard.
  11. My Sounddriver version is 6.0.1.8591 and my UI Version is 1.2.159.0 I believe i'm using the HD audio plug for my case, however, I don't think it matters since I've plugged my audio directly into the motherboard.
  12. I have the audio console from the drivers page, how can i download it from the Microsoft store? I can't seem to find it Edit: Nevermind, I found it in the microsoft store, however, it's telling me that I already have it downloaded.
  13. When I plug them in, I select headphones. The audio console then suddenly classifies them as speakers.
  14. It asks me what I've plugged in and I click the option for headphones, they're 3.5 mm and they use they use mic and audio jacks. They still become classified as speakers, however.
