thanks for the response, this is for work and Im very new to this. allegedly file server migration toolkit wont work because something was set up incorrectly and we are trying to avoid completely redo everything.

Not sure where exactly in the forum this belongs or if anyone can help me but Im trying to find a windows server migration service that i can use it to migrate Share folders from server 2003 with ntfs permissions to Server 2008 and higher. Window server migration tools won't work {link} and other services such as Quest's secure copy {link} doesn't support Windows server 2003. TLDR: Does anyone know of server migration tools that support Windows 2003-2008 and higher.
