  1. Oh hey! An extension cord at least has a little human error in the usage, still horrible that no one has even checked an image of the cord. But software, hidden files or the anker security camera uploading your images claiming 100% privacy in your hands
  2. They need to have at least a little bit of quality control on the platform, it can´t become basically a reseller for aliexpress things at a higher price
  3. Summary A user found in a smart tv services communicating with known malware addresses Quotes My thoughts It's hard to check every product on the market for things like these. As a consumer you can only trust at a certain degree even big companies and on the other hand you can't trust off brand ones. For me as a maker and uni student I see a lot of Chinese raspberry replacement and clones with sketchy or unknown Operating systems images uploaded on the manufacturer sites, sometimes the architecture of the CPU or interfaces are not compatible with Linux or Windows distros, you have to rely on the manufacturer OS unless you want to tweak or even install a distro, but not everyone can do it. It's about trust and that's why we need reviewers and people to explore. 4. Ok i unplugged the front usb and it has gone thanks didn't thought that a front usb(with nothing plugged) was recognized as a usb device
  5. Nothing, now that I think the only extra is the front usb, can they be? I try unplugging them after
  6. Hi, so in the past few weeks I had issues with windows on my P8P67, the problem was that sometimes the windows boot manager will currupt itself, forcing me to reinstall all. After 3 or 4 times I decided to throw windows and switch to pop os. I erased everything in my ssd an installed it. After like 5 days on startup a boot error appeared, "your windows boot/etc.. seems corrupted please insert a media to try the repair", I was really confused by a windows message on a Linux machine. So i started do diagnosis the problem: 1. I erased all partition in the ssd and HDD 2. Checked the boot options with attached only the keyboard (not even the mouse), and here I found something strange, I have 3 boot option, my ssd, HDD, and a generic storage usb, but I had nothing plugged in. 3 I unplugged the ssd and hhd, and it still appears like in the photo 4 I tried resetting the bios, nothing it is still there So I don't know what it is, can it case the bootloader corrupting? I think maybe?(is a virus?), At this point I only want to discover what it is. Upgraded to latest bios my P8P67, CPU 2600K 32 GB Vengeance Nvidia GTX 970 750 cooler master PSu 240gb ssd 2tb hdd
  7. @LogicalDrm @Applefreak Ty i forgot in that video linus explained how they performs, i will go for 3 NF-F12 (case) and 1 NF-A8 (cpu) and maybe switch them when i get the aio
  8. I'm switching fans for cpu cooler and case to reduce noise levels. For my cpu (2600K) i'm forced to choose the classic noctua because there are the only available in 80mm, but for the case i have two options: -classic (https://www.amazon.it/Noctua-NF-F12-Ventola-PWM-Marrone/dp/B00650P2ZC Eng-reference: https://www.newegg.com/noctua-nf-f12-pwm-case-fan/p/N82E16835608026) or -iPPC 3000Rpm (https://www.amazon.it/Noctua-Nf-F12-Ippc-3000-Ventola-Industriale/dp/B00KESS6O0 Eng-reference: https://www.newegg.com/noctua-chromax-black-swap-case-fan/p/1YF-000T-002R3) or -iPPC 2000Rpm (https://www.amazon.it/dp/B00KFCRF1A/ref=psdc_460085031_t1_B00KESS6O0 Eng-Reference: https://www.newegg.com/noctua-nf-a14-ippc-2000-ip67-case-fan/p/N82E16835608049) this has the cuts in the fan blades for a better airflow. I see that the iPCC obviously have more RPM and i can afford the 5 euros difference, my only concern is that on low fan speeds, like 1500-2000, can it be louder than a classic 1500-2000 Rpm classic fan? Maybe i will buy an AIO for my cpu, if i attach the fan i choose it will be better if they where iPPC obviously?
  9. @sowon So at least giving away the "low profile keycaps", any good keyboard with brown switches?
  10. Nope i like more compared to the normal one that's all, nothing special only feeling
  11. Oh nono not the keyboard height, the keycaps one. The Keyboard can be wathever it is for me the important thing is the keycap. If i get correct i can choose whatever keyboard and then switch the keycaps after? Sry if i explained wrong. This is what i was talking about But if there is a bettter choice on the market for starters without the "mid height" keycaps i will also consider it. Searching on the internet for switch comparison i found that i may prefer brown's one so i might go for them.
  12. Thanks, this is really helpfoul, lifesaver ahahah.
  13. Yup i mean low profile keycaps sorry For the two corsair's keyboards you told me, i don't really like keycaps flat like that but i will search for them and try both. If i get rid of the "Low profile keycaps" are any best choice on the market?
  14. Hi I'm looking to switch from my old membrane logitech mk 270, it is showing it's age and I really want to give a try to a mecha one. Mostly I use it for fps gaming and typing. I've searched on internet and in local stores to try the feeling of what they got and I fell in love with the razer ornata chroma, but after I figure out that is a membrane one in the end, and it only uses the "mecha switch" to give the feeling of it, I I get correct? So I keep in the list the ornata chroma but I want to try a only mecha one, so I figured out what I'm really searching for. It has to have at least these features: Low profile keys (not the flat ones I don't remember the name, razer calls the mid-height the ornata chroma keycaps), I really like it from the mk270, I don't know maybe I can fell in love even if it as regular one's, is only that I'm confotable with the mk270 but I can get used to regular keycaps A good switch feedback, both for gaming and typing, if I've got it right the brown one's are good for the porpuse A low mid budget, I'm in Italy and currently, for example, I can get a ornata chroma for 90$, so a 100 130 budget is the range I'm looking for I live in Italy but if I can get a US layout, sometimes it cost more here and idk why On the optional side Portable, I am a university student and I travel a lot from my university house to my parent's and I have 2 rig's, so a budget friendly solution is to get only one XD, I carry the mk270 for now A logitech one only for RGB SYNCRO (lol) with my g502 mouse. I'm looking for offers on the logitech one's that linus reviewed becouse I really like the lean look of them, but i'm stuck for the low profile switches of the ornata chroma, in the stores that I've visited the only sell razer, hp and some logitech but not mecha, so I'm up to you guys the best of the best, I'm a newbie in self thought mecha keyboards, but a master in linus videos, so feel free to correct me in some terms or switch or anything (also English if I wrote something wrong ahhaah sry)
