  1. 580 has slightly better performance and is cheaper. It is generally the better option, but a 1060 is not bad. For around that cost though you can get a 1660 so that might be better
  2. Ok so first, my computer It has an intel core i5 3550 quadcore at 3.4 ghz It has 8 gb of DDR3 RAM 500 gb 7200 rpm hdd 650 w 80+ Bronze power supply (not that it matters) And the problem child of this machine, some wack 750 ti 2 gb I got off ebay I really need help on this one Earlier today I recieved both the power supply and graphics card deliveries and installed them into my Dell Optiplex 7010 (also bought off of ebay earlier). I play mostly old Source games as they are what I am used to because I have used intel integrated graphics to run games for a while. After installation,Team Fortress 2, my favorite Source game, was working great. I was getting great frames and everything was awesome. After that though I left my computer idle while I did something else. When I returned and tried to join a new match, the computer would always freeze up weirdly on the character select screen or maybe a little bit later. I could still interact with it, click on menus and hear the audio, but it was stuck on one frame and you couldn't see anything. Thinking this was a driver issue I went to the nvidia website, downloaded GeForce experience and installed the latest drivers. As soon as I got those drivers though, I was greeted by a blue screen of death bearing the error code: "System Thread Exception Not Handled". After this, it could not boot into windows, it would only give me the bsod again and again until Windows Diagnostic opened. In Windows Diagnostic, I tried several things but what eventually solved it, albeit temporarily, was booting into safe mode and rolling back the drivers to the original version. After doing that Windows would boot up fine. I installed Display Driver Uninstaller and ran it in safe mode. After that I tried to download the drivers again but again I was struck down by the bsod. I eventually gave up and just kept the drivers rolled back indefinitely for now, but the same issues still happened with TF2. I tried to play Overwatch, but after alt + tabbing out I couldn't get back in and I had to end the process with Task Manager. When I try to relaunch Overwatch. The image of my desktop remains and the launcher menu is invisible, but again I can hear and interact with it and Task Manager recognizes it. Sorry for the long post but can anyone help me? This is incredibly frustrating for me. PS the screenshot below shows a popup from the Battle.net menu that is invisible but that I can still interact with
