I have the noctua fans lying around ready to be used and I dont mind the looks as its going to sit in a closed case. Ive seen some people do it on MSI AMD RX cards and get lower temps compared to stock cooling. THX
-
No but i have manually set the fans at 100% at full load and the fans were only ramping up and down between 0-400rpm max with temps increasing slowly from mid 80 to about 90-95. (EDIT: Front fan stays at 0% for about 10 min before ramping up and down again)

I have a GTX980 msi gaming card that has the front fan that wont go above 500rpm during load. Current temps while full load is at 90 degrees with the front fan spinning up and down from 0-500 rpm ( measured in msi afterburner). Previous temps were never above 80 degrees and fans were spinning at 1000+ RPM. Should I buy replacement fans or zip tie 2 120mm noctua fans to heatsink after removing the plastic shrouds and old fans ? The 120mm fans will be connected to a Lamptron FC5 Fan controller and probs leave the fans running at 80-90% most of the time( not worried about noise). Also would like to know results if anyone has attempted the dual 120mm fan zip tie mod on a MSI gaming card. THX

Hi I have an issue with my motherboard. The model number is dz77sl-50k Intel motherboard paired with i5 3570k and 32gb of ram. The issue is that the motherboard will no go past the Intel logo and I cant get into the BIOS. The motherboard will only work normally if there are no drives plugged into the sata ports. Also I tried booting up with another ssd from my other computer still the same result it wont pass the Intel logo screen and I could not access the BIOS. Changing the SATA option to IDE,AHCI or Raid still did not solve anything. If you have come acroos this problem I would like to know how it could be fixed. Thx.

I use to have an ASUS rog g73jh it had an i7 720qm at 1.6ghz turbo to 2.8 which only gave me 50 fps at the lowest setting . so the i5 has similar clock speed and less cores . Just dont want to make the same mistake in getting a weak cpu -
