  1. AWesome advice, thank you. If I did want to go 4k, and I know this is an uniformed question, how would I do that? New CPU/GPU/Monitor? Is 4k worth it? I don't totally follow the hertz concept...
  2. looking at: https://www.amazon.com/LG-34UC89G-B-34-Inch-21-UltraWide/dp/B0728JH3RQ?SubscriptionId=AKIAJV4KMHBMUG36SMIQ&tag=pcm_rounduptable-20&linkCode=xm2&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B0728JH3RQ&ascsubtag=52150f42-b0dd-4195-bc9b-81d90c9ef667
  3. ok so good monitor and upgrade GPU. Does 1080ti used around 650 make sense?
  4. Oh and I live in Alaska, so not much much in the way of used parts in my area.
  5. 1500 USD would be my top end... thinking a decent display is gonna take a big chunk of that. Feels like my CPU maxes out first, but games run well on med to high. Like to keep some of what I've got. Does it make sense to look into ddr4? What CPU's/GPUs? You guys rock, thanks for speedy responses.
  6. Hey everyone, really appreciate any tips. Looking to upgrade for game performance. Currently playing on a Roku TV, pretty basic, and a self built PC desktop. Definitely looking to upgrade my monitor setup and my PC a bit. Debates: Monitor/TV? Id like 2k-4k gaming. My rig: Cpu: i5 4690k Gpu: GTX 1060 3g Ram: 32gb ddr3 1 tb HD 500 gb SSD Thoughts on semi budget upgrades? IE. i dont have 3k to spend, but maybe 1500. Thank you! Play games like Anthem (well i used to), Witcher 3, looking forward to Cyberpunk (I think)
