  1. I saw this listing earlier, it says it is a 40 pin connector, so without some kind of converter it is not compatible. I actually messaged the seller asking for a model number to see what panel it is a earlier today so maybe they can shed some light on which panel may be compatible
  2. So I got the y7000 on sale in Febuary, its a wonderful laptop. My model came with an i7 8750H, a GTX 1060, 16GBs of RAM, a 1TB 7200rpm drive + 256GB m.2 SSD. My model also has a 60hz panel, it is also sold with a 144hz panel. Some of the games that I play run at 144fps or higher on this laptop and it would benefit from the high refresh rate. I can't seem to find the 144hz panel that this laptop comes with for the life of me. I do know the 60hz panel model (BOE NV156FHM-N61). I was wondering if I could get some help figuring out what panels would be compatible. I did a search on panelook.com and compared all the 144hz panels with the same resolution, size, and whatnot. I found 3 different panels and I have no clue which would work. Here is a link to the compare page with the panels: http://www.panelook.com/modelcompare.php?ids=29824,37089,34862,36616 I work with desktops most of the time and I am pretty familiar with laptop hardware and repair, but I am a total noob when it comes to laptop screens. The laptop comes with a 30 pin eDP interface and most of the 144hz panels come with a 40 pin interface. Is it possible to upgrade to a 40 pin cable? Any help would be much appreciated.
