  1. 500gigs will do for me. I saw Intel 660p. It's a good budget option. I also think AHCI mode should work coz RAID is used by Intel Optane to combine the optane module and hdd as one single drive
  2. I got a lenovo notebook with an Intel Optane accelerated WD 5400rpm 1TB HDD which is fast, but I want to upgrade to a faster SSD. I want to utilize the M.2 PCIe slot which is currently occupied by the Intel Optane module. The online support technician, confirmed that the slot supports PCIe but I'm not sure if I can use the latest NVMe enabled M.2 2280 SSDs in that slot. as my BIOS only shows AHCI or RAID storage controllers. I'm including the spec sheet snap which confirms M.2 PCIe support and another snap of the supported M.2 SSDs listed in the support manual of my notebook. Can somebody clear out the picture for me, like what SSDs will be supported and what is the installation process, like is there any extra drivers I need on my BIOS?
