  1. Well. You should be able to do that with any remote desktop software. But: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kairos.duet&hl=en_US. It is Duet Display on the Play Store. I used to use this app, but can remember it right now. Once I do, I will let you know.
  2. Wel... It depends on the specs it has and the chance of it working. There is nothing really wrong with that, but the price seems a bit unreasonable to me. I would suggest negotiation, since if you are buying old hardware, then buy it for the price it really deserves.
  3. Could you provide more information? Like your specs and what version of Rocket League you have. More background information allows the community to better understand the issue.
  4. Really dependent on if a game ever gets upgraded graphics, then your build might fall behind. Otherwise, this build can go long.
  5. Thank you very much. I am currently deciding to stay on Lineage OS, however will use this thread in the future just in case.
  6. Real Device. Would you have any advice for the battery issue?
  7. I switched to Lineage OS yesterday and have been facing an issue of where the battery level isn't told correctly.
  8. FreeNas is very simple, and when I first used it, I was able to catch on very easily. Now, if you are deciding on just file sharing, then you can share those files from windows. To access files from your home, you would need to port forward the port that the File System runs on. Apologize for the short answer. Will respond in greater detail to any questions you may have.
  9. Thank you very much! This made my switch very easy.
  10. Would the S3 SGH T999 and d2tmo be the same?
  11. So I am planning on switching to Lineage OS on my Samsung Galaxy s3. Is there anything I should be aware of. And what are the benefits of switching? Would love to hear your experience with Lineage if possible Thanks!
  12. How would you define a Static image?
  13. Thanks! I was worried like if it was going to like affect the life of the phone. But battery is no issue to me!
  14. Is there any negative impact to a phone such as the Samsung Galaxy s3, if I am watching youtube on it for 2 hours a day?
  15. So, I own a Samsung Galaxy s3 which is currently running Android 4.3. However, since i am developing apps for it, most frameworks like Capacitor (with Ionic) or Expo CLI require Android 5.0, basically a higher SDK. Is there a way I could support those apps? I am not looking for production fixes, just till development and personal use. Thanks!
  16. In my opinion, for them to really lockdown their OS, they would need to remove Virtualization support since Virtualization would be possible. I would say that Apple could maybe allow people to buy licenses to use on other hardware, and the hackintosh community would be ended since there would be a legal option to do it.
  17. If you work closely with Google Drive then ChromeOs (Cloudready) would suit you more.
  18. YouTube suggested me this video. I don't even watch pet videos. YouTube algorithm is so off.
  19. If we gave phones to pets, what do you think would happen? This idea came from a video YouTube suggested me. I am trying to make this thread with like humor of it happening.
  20. Thanks! You just ended the biggest confusion my brain was undergoing. I was thinking that there was a layer between kernel and programs. Now you helped me understand that the apps run on the kernel. Correct me if I am wrong.
  21. I am starting to learn C++. But have some knowledge in C. But know Rust pretty good. I was initially wanting to follow this tutorial: https://os.phil-opp.com/ However got confused on how I would write on top of it. Like apps. Thanks
  22. So would it be better if I attempted to write my own kernel first. I am starting to understand how OS are structured and what happens at boot and all.
  23. If I were to take an existing kernel and would want to build on top of it, how would that be? Thanks
  24. Are the D and E drives partitions of the hard drive you installed?
  25. That is true. However, I didn't mean to quote him. Just was adding to the discussion going on. Since this is what happened to some people. The ISP told them the upto clause.
