  1. I'm thinking about purchasing one of these bundles - https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/bundle-and-save.aspx - https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/intel-bundle-and-save.aspx I'm personally leaning towards the 7800X3D one.
  2. If I were to upgrade my CPU what do you think I should upgrade to? I plan on gifting the 2070 & 9900k to my sister for her new build.
  3. Budget (including currency): $1000-$1200 Country: United States (Located in Ohio with access to the Mayfield Heights Microcenter) I'm looking to upgrade my current PC. I would be fine waiting for the new Nvidia cards to release. Current PC - https://pcpartpicker.com/list/r9yxWt
  4. What would the NVIDIA alternatives be for the 6900 XT and the 6800 XT? Thanks so much
  5. My friend is looking to build a gaming PC for around $1500. He'll be playing all different types of games. (The budget is just for the PC itself as he already has his monitors and peripherals) We are able to go to the Micro center in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Thanks
  6. @supertntstar@Psittac@rice guruThanks for the recommendations. I decided to go with the NHT-100.
  7. Thanks for the recommendations. I totally meant except heavy metal.
  8. Pretty much all types expect heavy metal. Mainly hip-hop and pop.
  9. I currently have TYGR 300rs but I'm moving into a dorm in a month and a little fearful of the noise levels. So I'm hoping to find closed back headphones that are some what comparable to the TYGRs. My budget is ~250. I also currently have a FiiO E10K amp. I mainly play FPS games and listen to all types of music.
  10. I'll most likely get the TYGRs, but if I were to figure out I didn't like open backed headphones what would some good closed backed headphones be? Thanks for all the information and the recommendation.
  11. I've never used open back headphones, but I'm willing to give them a chance. I've never used open back headphones, but I'm willing to give them a chance. and you are correct about me not knowing if I prefer V shaped or neutral audio.
  12. How much would an AMP be? I don't really know much about headphones or things related to headphones.
  13. I mainly play FPS games and Rocket League and I pretty much listen to all kinds of music expect hard rock.
  14. I currently have a Logitech G933 headset but I'm looking to upgrade. I'm looking for nice headphones(wired) and a standalone mic. They will be mainly used to play games and listen to music. My budget is around $350 but I can go over a bit if I need to. thanks in advance
  15. I'm trying to build my little sister a computer with my old 1060 6gb but I don't know a decent CPU to pair it with (I need to buy the motherboard, SSD, and RAM) I am able to go to the Microcenter in Mayfield Heights
  16. I saw a lot of people saying that buying a 3080 and playing on a 1080p monitor is a waste of money. Would it be worth me upgrading to a 3080 from a 2070 if I still game on a 1080p monitor? (Currently have a i9 9900k)
  17. Well, I just thought it was weird that we are getting packet loss at the same time on Discord and Rocket league. Is there anyway I could report this to Spectrum? I have a tech coming out to my house tomorrow, but I don't know if he'll believe me that it's happening to my friend a few blocks away at the same time.
  18. My friend and I live a few blocks away in the same town and are both receiving packet loss on Rocket league and Discord. (We also both have Spectrum) What could be the problem? Thanks, Nate
  19. All I know is that it's 850 watts. I'm sure he wouldn't mind buying a new one. No monitors or peripherals needed.
  20. My friend wants to build a PC for games (LoL, Rust, and CS:GO) and Adobe Illustrator. He said he would prefer to use the entire budget. We are able to go to the micro center in Mayfield Heights. *He already has a power supply* Thanks
  21. My friend is coming home from college for winter break and wants to build a computer for about $400 so he can play League Of Legends(He's on his college's esports team and needs to practice while he's home). All he wants is to be able to play League at 144 fps. We are able to go to the Microcenter store in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. Thanks
  22. I would prefer if it had a refresh rate over 120hz.
  23. Ohio. $1800. I'm looking for a decently powerful laptop that has a good battery life. I don't really care about weight as long as it's not crazy heavy.
  24. I'll look into these. But I'm most likely going to buy a higher end laptop just in case I want to play other games in the future. I only said CS:GO because they are giving me a scholarship to play so I'll mainly be playing that for the first couple of months/years.
