  1. Hello everyone, does anyone know if it is possible to use my desktop PC as a WiFi-Repeater? I have a Fritz!Wlan USB Stick N v2 (This one). Thanks for suggestions!
  2. I have Windows 8 Pro 64bit installed. How do I get windows 10?
  3. The title says it all. It consists of Naphta. Is it ok or do I extra have to buy something?
  4. But the Board does not support 1600MHz either? And 1866 is not more expensive...soo.. I would prefer to buy the faster one. I just wanted to know if its fine to put the RAM mentioned above in the MB.
  5. I think this is what you're looking for: 2200 MHz, 1333 MHz, 1066 MHz, 800 MHz It is this one
  6. Sorry I should have made clear what I meant. I am aiming for DDR3 1866 CL 9
  7. Hello everyone, I own the Gigabyte P55M-UD2 with an i5 760. I want to buy new RAM and a new GPU (R9 390x) now and may in one year upgrade the CPU and MB. Now could I buy fast RAM so I don't have to pay twice? Or would I get problems because the mainboard does not support it? Or does it simply run at lower speeds?
  8. Could you recommend me some ram that will work well with that board?
  9. Looks good to me. If you have the money you could get an i5 4690k for overclocking. But thats up to you.
  10. Hello everyone, I have asked several questions here and finally I came up with a beta version of my new PC. The GPU is actually the Sapphire R9 390x Nitro (I couldn't find it on PCPP) PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 4 79.0 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard: Asus Z97 PRO GAMER ATX LGA1150 Motherboard Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133 Memory Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 390X 8GB Tri-X OC Video Card Case: Xigmatek Utgard ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: SeaSonic 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply (€144.90 @ Caseking) Wireless Network Adapter: TP-Link TL-WN851ND 802.11b/g/n PCI Wi-Fi Adapter Total: €144.90 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-12-22 12:05 CET+0100 Now I don't have that much money right now. I could probably buy everything in like 2 - 3 Months. But i wondered: would it be possible to only guy the GPU and let it run in my old system. It looks like this. I acutally have 4x2 GB of this RAM but either the MB is broken or the RAM as it always said (2 years ago, when I last used it) that 4GB are reserved and it can only use 4GB So I could already have a working System and in a few months (or more if it runs well) I will buy a new CPU, MB and RAM. What do you think?
  11. So just that I get this right. It can't run as slow as it could if were connected to a 4 pin pwm controller? Edit: Would it be better to buy a non pwm fan?
  12. Can someone tell if it is a problem if I would connect the noctua nf f12 pwm 4 pin fans to the fan controller of the xigmatek utgard case. It is just a 3pin connector but I believe the fans come with an adapter. Now I'm not sure how the controller works, so I would just lle to make sure everything will work. Thanks
  13. Alright thank You. Now I habe another question. If I will use my old case, can I connect the nf-f12 noctua fan to the 3 pin fan controller of the case. I think there's a 3pin to 4pin adapter but I'm not sure whether there will be other problems. I don't know how the controller works. The case is the xigmatek utgard by the way.
  14. I already own The 840 evo. And I forgot to add that I also have a 1TB HDD. So storage is not the problem. Everything else is fine?
  15. Hello Guys, I recently asked for help with a build, but my budget rose (a lot). So now we're talking about solid 1100€ Here's my Shopping Basket. Note: I already own the SSD and the Scythe Mugen. I could neither find the Sapphire 390x nitro nor the PSU on PCPP so you have to look at it at mindfactory.de. I want to overclock the CPU (maybe the Ram and Gpu as well.) but nothing extraordinary. Anything I have to change? Thanks for answering. Edit: I also have a 1TB HDD.
