  1. I'm fairly sure its not my WiFi connection since I can still access the router settings in my browser even when the issue happens. I have also started to get blue screens saying "SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED What Failed: Network06.sys", Network06.sys being one of the driver files for the adapter. I'm guessing this means that the issue is with my computer, not my router or ISP. Edit: Pings to my router actually did time out when it happens.
  2. I would switch to that but the only way for me to use ethernet is over powerline which has really slow speeds. It stays connected though. Also this issue is not happening with any other device, just my PC, but I'll still contact my isp in case it is an issue with the router.
  3. I have an Arris TG1682G Wired connection works fine I can't find an option to update firmware though. I also got the logs and attached them. There was an option to download "system logs" as well but it was completely blank. troubleshooting_logs_event_Today.txt troubleshooting_logs_firewall_Today.txt
  4. No matter what WiFi adapter I use, my connection will randomly drop at random times. Sometimes it happens every 5 minutes and sometimes I can go hours without issues. I know that the connection is strong because when it works I get the full 150mbps that I pay for, and my pc stays connected to the network, it just shows "Connected, No Internet". I have tried two usb wifi adapters and a PCIe wifi adapter. I have the same issue with all of them. If it helps, when I use the diagnostics thing it says "The default gateway is not available". I've tried everything and my PC is kind of unusable unless I'm playing offline games so any help would be appreciated.
  5. I have a Realtek 8812BU WiFi adapter and I'm having an issue where the internet will stop working at random. I stay connected to the network, and I don't get the little yellow symbol on the WiFi icon, but everything stops working. I have also found that going into a call in discord will make the internet stop working immediately. I have to disconnect and reconnect to make it work again. I don't know a lot about networking so I'm not sure how to fix this.
  6. I want to be able to share files between my laptop and my PC over an ethernet cable but I can't figure out how to. Sharing settings are all set to on for both computers. My laptop shows up on my PC but when I try to open it, I get an error saying it cannot be found. File sharing also works fine over WiFi. How can I fix this?
  7. I just got an SSD and installed windows onto it. I can't figure out how to make it be a normal storage device. For example, I can't uninstall any programs from it as only the programs on the SSD are showing up there. Also steam had an error about something being "un-writeable" but it seems to be working fine now.
