  1. I'm kinda looking to buy a used Rx 580, If there's a scorched part of the Gpu. There's no need for me to buy another PSU? Or do I buy both? As of the moment, my rig is okay. Nothing yet exploded XD. I will try to plug the used GPU. I'm really on a budget since I have an upcoming baby.
  2. Thanks for all the replies. I'll explain it in more details. When I plug the pc the motherboard will light up right? Showing everything is plugged. I tried hitting the power on button, but there was no display. So I unplug the main electrical source and tried it again. When I hit the power button, the GPU just suddenly sparked and the Video output just died. I removed the GPU switched to it's APU, which runs perfectly fine. Here's the PSU and the GPU. Now I'm worried I might need to buy a new PSU if this is the case. The only thing that smell burnt is the GPU, other than that everything works fine here.
  3. Hello Everyone! I have a problem that needs your expert opinion but before that here's my PC specs. Intel i3-8100 Asus ROG H370-F Thermaltake 500W non-modular T.Force 2666mhz 4GBx2 (8GB) RX 570 We just moved from the city to our province. The first day, I was playing some games on my PC and there was no problem. The pc is just placed on the floor which I think there could be static. After I played a game and woked up by tomorrow, I turned on the PC the GPU just exploded. I don't know what's the problem with it, so I removed it. I changed my video output to the integrated graphics of the cpu and it's still working. The only thing that it smells burning is the gpu nothing else in the pc seems wrong. Now the main question is; When I will buy a GPU which is a 5700XT, will it be okay? I'm afraid that if I'm going to put a new GPU it might explode again.
  4. Great Idea I do hope that it would be discounted, I mainly play games not much on multitasking.
  5. I will stick with the 1660 ti here in the Phillipines it only cost P16,600'ish or $325.70 while the Vega 56 is $383.18.
  6. Yes use Rufus, well perfect and it's easy you may need another PC that has windows 10 to boot it properly.
  7. Well I guess we have just respect other's opinion, I'm open to all suggestion it's up to me on how to get the final results.
  8. Well I agree but it differs to people who have different systems. I trust all those sources like Linus tech, Jazcents but some of those random can sometimes provide good information. It's up to you who to believe.
  9. Well I'd like to test it myself in this type of cases. I also watch this sources but you know to see is to believe. Might as well try it yourself haha.
  10. As much as I wanted to with peformance is better in compared with 1660ti but the pricing here in the phillipines favors the nvidia gpu's. There's a lot of consideration if I ever go for zen 2. The main BUT for me for this is, I have a H370-f motherboard which is not compatible. second, I don't know if Zen 2 would still be compatile with AM4 mobo's or if there's a need to purchase a new type of MOBO.
  11. I have dual channel 4gbx2 2666mhz and yes It's a good idea to upgrade my Ram another 2 sticks to make it 16gb. If I purchase the 1660ti then I still have the money to purchase the RAM sticks. As my budget was originally either rtx 2060 or an i7-8700
  12. As I've said I'm planning on giving my old parts that includes the Rx 570 as I'm upgrading my current PC and it may take time but eventually we'll be playing together. She may not get the settings that I would have but definitely we could play together.
  13. Thanks for the advise. I've already updated my bios to 1303 version which supports 9th gen and I think the 9400f is a good Idea well I mainly play at 1080p 60hz anyway.
  14. I've already given her one h310n motherboard so she can dfeinitely use the igpu and we had an extra monitor she just lacks the CPU but I'm planning in giving my old parts to her so we could play together.
