  1. I recently moved into uni accommodation, and for some strange reason they don't have Ethernet ports in the rooms, so I purchased a wifi card for about £20 and it says the internet is fine but it seems like its stuttering when I am playing games but the ping stays constant like 30-35 ish. Is this down to getting a crap wifi card, if so could anyone recommend anything, if its not due to the wifi card could someone provide a solution if they is one. Thank you The card is https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/adapter/tl-wn881nd/ (TL-WN881ND) I think.
  2. If I turn my PC on, like half the time it will make a loud grinding noise, and it will continue to do this the entire time its on until I shut it down and turn it back on(restarting it will not fix the issue). I can still change my GPU fan speed while its turned on and it doesn't seem to change the volume of the noise, so I can only assume its my CPU/case fans. I just find it strange how it doesnt do it all the time but if it does it doesn't stop. Is this something to worry about or is it just something I should deal with and turn it off until it stops? Fan:be quiet dark rock pro 4 CPU:i9-9900K Graphics Card:2080ti Case:Gamemax Abyss
  3. My internet speed on my PC doesn't match up with any other device in the house ever since we changed from Talk Talk to Virgin. I use a Netgear Powerline PL1000 Adapter to connect my PC to the internet which was fine until we changed provider. I am unable to find anything to sort this problem.
  4. I was looking it up and apparently the overwatch in-game temperature monitor is broken, so I downloaded a 3rd party monitor and It doesn't go above 60 apparently and my gpu didn't go above 75. Are these temps better or is the HWMonitor not accurate?
  5. Its not an fps issue, its just the temperature I don't want to risk the temperature being too high while gaming.
  6. Intel Core i9-9900K Dark Rock Pro 4 Z390 AORUS PRO GameMax Abyss And just the one fan it comes, think I am going to order more case fans though.
  7. My CPU temperature are almost reaching 80 Celsius (176 Fahrenheit) on Overwatch at max settings, is this worrying?
  8. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/QmTrkd I will be using the PC for gaming and am wanting it to last at least 4 years if possible, but I have no idea what motherboard I need or how much cooling the CPU with require, and have also been told that I should probably just use 16 GB of RAM and upgrade another time if needed. I also have already got the CPU, SSD and Power Supply because I was stupid and impulse bought them cause they went down in price on amazon...
