  1. Hello, title says all. Simply put, I just want to change from membrane to mechanical, for gaming and typing. I'm looking for something that is a good value for under $60 and because I don't really know a lot about finding a good mechanical keyboard, I am asking here. I would prefer it to be Cherry MX switches. Any response is appreciated.
  2. I have no idea if my Windows has updated, I really don't care if it updates, because I never had a problem with it.
  3. I will be doing the Windows one first, because I have got no idea what a Live Linux Disk is and how do I use it and how do I get it. But I guess a little Googling will do the job. Thanks for any advice, I will get back here if any problems persist.
  4. I have recently (1 week back) noticed that my internet connection got really slow out of nowhere. I tried doing a bunch of things about it, I tried playing with the DNS things, it didn't help at all. I resetted my network on Windows 10, didn't help too, or I didn't notice anything change. I resetted my router, tried changing Ethernet cables and still nothing. My phone is doing the same as it was before, I tried connecting an another computer, and it was just fine. I am on a desktop PC and any page would load in under 1 second, now even searching a term in google can take up to 10 seconds. Videos take longer to load, joining game servers can take up to a minute and I just can't figure out what the problem is. I don't really think that my internet/router is the problem, I think it is my computer, but I just can not figure out what is causing this problem. Here is my internet speed test, I am honestly not sure if this site is any good, but I use it regularly.
  5. I got a MSI GTX 1660 TI Gaming X and the card runs just fine, temps won't ever go above 68°C with an overclock: Clock speed +100MHz, Memory speed: +1000MHz. I recently noticed that my GPU clock speed was going down and up, sometimes the clock speed would go from 2050MHz to 1500MHz in no time and it seriously hit my performance (from 122FPS to 57FPS and I was in a crowded place, so I don't understand why it decided that it is not under load). I understand that GPUs are supposed to not run at full speed when not under load, but I am playing games and this is happening and it doesn't really seem normal to me, and yes, all of my drivers are updated. Should I do anything about this or just leave it?CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 4GHzCPU Cooler: AMD Wraith Spire with Arctic MX2 thermal paste (mostly keeps temps under 65°C under full load, planning to upgrade the cooler later)RAM: 8GB 2666MHz (single channel, planning to upgrade too)MOBO: MSI B350 Gaming PlusPSU: Corsair RM550xCase: SilentiumPC Armis AR5 TG RGB (came with 3 fans)
  6. Well I have recently built my first computer, the first 2-3 days were fine, probably because I was just overclocking and updating drivers, I wasn't playing anything too demanding, but in the last 2 days weird things started happening. PC started locking up randomly while I was playing Metro or anything else except less demanding games like Minecraft etc., the PC would not respond at all, ctrl+alt+del won't work, keyboard and mice stopped responding too (Caps Lock light on keyboard wouldn't light up when I pressed Caps Lock), the RGB on my mice and keyboard would stay lit up, all temps were fine (GPU 67°C, CPU 54°C under load), when the PC locked up I wouldn't hear the same sounds repeating or anything at all, they stopped. Image on screen just stopped and wouldn't move at all. I double checked my drivers except my motherboard's BIOS driver, could that be the problem? I'm asking this because I'm not on my computer right now and I would like to know what to do when I come home. GPU: MSI GTX 1660 Ti GAMING X (i overclocked clock speed to +115MHz and memory +900) CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X (4 GHz) 1x8GB 2666MHz RAM (overclocked to 28??MHz, im not sure if it is overclocked to 2880 or just to 2800, i want to upgrade my ram later) Motherboard: MSI B350 Gaming Plus Storage: 1TB Seagate Barracuda (old model). And I checked the Event Viewer before and it was just the Kernel Power problem because I need to hard reset each time. So, should I just upgrade my BIOS drivers and it will be fine or what? (i just dont think the driver is the problem here because it wasnt happening before)
  7. Hello, all I need to know is what this cable is and where do I connect it on the motherboard? There are numbers 2510 and 15 written on it. White arrow points to some fan hub with led etc. that the cable connects to. (its pointing on the exact port the cable goes to)
  8. Alright, I got completely nothing from the speaker and I am not in the mood to reconnect the 24 pin power cable today, I'm just going to let someone smarter try fixing it, but thanks everyone that helped.
  9. Oh yeah sure I do have one, form a russian manufacturer thst no longer exists and it is a 10 year old PSU. I dont think Im frying this PC today. I'm going to try plugging in a speaker and see if I get anything.
  10. Well should I RMA it? I'm going to call somebody here tommorow and see what do they think the problem is. But you might be right, there aren't any LEDs on and no sign of life.
  11. Well I tried shortening it and nothing, I think there isn't power getting to the mobo because no LEDs are on.
  12. Yep, all of the plugged in all the way, the only problem I had was with connecting the 24 pin ATX power cable, but after some pressure and time I got it to snap in there. And no, I did not try bridging and I am not going to, I just dont feel comfortable with doing that because last time I did it I felt like I broke it.
  13. Nope, mobo is has the bios updated to support 2nd gen Ryzen. Just made sure Front Panel cables are connected right and they are.
