  1. the 970 is for reading large 3ds Max/Revit files, perhaps the money would be better spent elsewhere. I could go with the Black version of the EVGA 2080 and save some case but really wanted to stick with EVGA as I've never had a bad card from them and like their warranty. Would you recommend another card?
  2. Putting together a new build very soon, would I be better suited for the 9700 or 9900k? Will be a workstation and gaming, some have even mentioned possibly a 8700k? Any thoughts on this? Thanks! 3. Which monitor are you talking about? This is my biggest concern. My other option would be a 27" 1440 as my main and another cheap panel to the left maybe set vertically.
  4. Hi AmpedUpDad, will you be using another monitor along side of X34P? I'm going through the same process right now honestly and I can't really decide If I want 1 main ultrawide in addition to a 16:9 on the side or just 1 ultrawide period.
  5. Interesting to hear that Sekiro doesn't have 21:9 support. I don't play a ton of competitive games so I'm ok with that, I mainly play RPG's and Indie's with the occasional AAA. Work I'm thinking it would be quite helpful but I've used multiple 16:9 monitors for so long that I'm questioning 1 single 21:9. Do you use a 21:9 alongside of a 16:9? Thanks.
  6. Looking to upgrade my monitor situation but I just don't know if Ultrawide is the answer? I'm currently looking at these two, any huge difference? Predator X34P or the Alienware AW3418DW Both monitors seem very similar, I've currently have a dell IPS and it's been great and lasted forever. This will be for both work and gaming. For those who have switched to ultrawides as their primary monitor how has your experience been? Thanks!
  7. if I go with a 2080ti will the H500i be big enough? Or should I still go with the H700i?
  8. I have another system that I've been using but yeah, my main rig is just about at the 10 year mark.
  9. How much of a performance gain roughly are we talking about with a 2080 vs 2080ti?
  10. I was considering the BeQuiet in addition to the AIO, I'll check out the rest of these options as well. Thanks for the feedback!
  11. I guess that's why I was considering a 9900 for HT. Rendering is a huge aspect using Vray and Marmoset but maybe I could get away with a cheaper option? Windows is a PH and the extra fans we're to replace the stock ones.
  12. Hello all, this will be the first PC I've build in close to a decade! I'm extremely excited and have put together this build so far. Any thoughts about improvements around this budget? It will be used for gaming and work (3d artist). Initially I was thinking about going with a 9900k and a 2080ti but wasn't sure if it was worth breaking the budget for. I would like to play games on most Ultra settings on 1440. Any feedback is greatly appreciated! thank you.
