  1. I believe I can connect every fan (as long as it has the correct pins) to that rgb controller, then this controller should be connected a) to the front panel, b) to the motherboard and c) to the psu. This is an image of the rgb controller from the case's manual: And this is an image of the mobo components: That way I believe I can control rpm's and colour of all 6, but now my question is, fans of which pin type should I buy?
  2. No, I believe it comes with a pack like this. Could I buy something like this? Does it do the job? So, since I don't know much about this stuff, could you please tell me what specs should the fans have? I still have time to change my order. Btw, I can't find the zalman ones to buy them separately. What I want to do, is to be able to control all 6 fans (their rpm's and their colours) if it's possible.
  3. I have a link in the first post. Two of those (so that they look similar to the Zalman ones). Can I connect those two to the rgb controller as well? And then control their rpm's via bios or software? And also, does the following apply to me?
  4. So, if I understood correctly: 1) I connect cpu cooler to cpu_fan1, 2) rear non-rgb fan to sys_fan1, 3) The two I bought for Top to sys_fan3 and sys_fan4, 4) 3 pre-installed fans at the front to rgb controller? And I control the 3 at the front with the button and the 2 at the top with mystic light?
  5. Hello there. I am about to build my first pc, have already ordered all the parts, but I am having difficulty trying to figure out how to install the fans, so that I can control their rpms and colour via the motherboard's software (Mystic Light it's called I guess). Case: Zalman Z7 Neo (manual on same page) PSU: Super Flower Leadex III 650W Gold (can't find a manual online, but a review with images here) Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max (manual here) CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X and will use the stock cooler (Wraith Spire). The case comes with 4 fans (3 rgb at the front, 1 rgb at the back) and I bought 2 more rgb fans for Top. It also has a preinstalled rgb led controller (if you scroll down in the manufacturer's page you'll see it). There are also some reviews of the case on youtube, here (russian), here (russian) and here (german). So, what am I supposed to do?
  6. Update and SOLVED: Finally, today I got this 2x4GB DDR3 1333MHz PC3-10600 Kingston RAM and everything's fine, the system recognized both of the modules. I even ran a windows memory diagnostic, no errors there. The difference in speed probably played a part here (incompatible Mushkin ones were PC3-10666 and new Kingston ones are PC3-10600). The other is that the Kingston modules have 4 banks on each side (8 total on one dimm), whereas the Mushkin ones had 8 banks on each side (for a total of 16 on the dimm). Don't know if that made any difference or if it was just the PC3-10600. System properties, msinfo32, dxdiag and hwinfo images here.
  7. Unfortunately, the 2x Corsair ones I was about to purchase are out of stock, so I can now order these (and their manual here). I don't think I will have any problems, 8GB DDR3 1333MHz SDRAM (4GB 1Rx8 512M x 64-Bit x 2 pcs.) PC3-10600 CL9 204-Pin 1.5V SODIMM Kit. What do you think?
  8. I see. Well, thank you for your time as well. Some hours ago I sent the incompatible modules back to the store and I'm waiting for the new ones. I will post back with results, once I receive them.
  9. Yeah. I mean, the basic characteristics are exactly like the ones I purchased. The only difference was that those dimms were PC3-10666, while the ones I'm looking to purchase now are PC3-10600. Also, and I am not sure if it makes any difference, my old RAM modules have 4 banks on each side (those black rectangles), while the incompatible ones have 8 banks on each side (you can have a look at them here). And I've noticed that the replacement (the Corsair ones) also have 8 banks on each side. Don't know if that will make them incompatible as well...
  10. Excuse me sir, wouldn't it be safer bet if I buy slower 8GB memory (2x4GB 1066MHz, something like this) ? I am asking because I have doubts whether the 8GB 1333MHz (2x4GB) will work.
  11. I don't think I can do that, since it's a laptop. Could you please have a look at the OP, I posted images from my BIOS settings. Also, in these images you can see that it found my kingston ssd.
  12. Yes, I'll post here with results once I get the new ones. Btw, I'm thinking of buying either these (2 of them cause they come separately) or these, do you think I'll be fine?
