  1. Can somebody please tell me what this piece is? It snapped off my computer while I was building it and I have no idea what it is. My computer seems to run just fine, and I hope that it’s nothing important.
  2. Hi, I was just wondering what graphics card this is? I found it in some old junk and I’m not good with AMD cards so if anyone could let me know what it is that would be great. Thanks!
  3. I'm thinking about buying a VR headset for Christmas, I know that my computer can handle any headset but I'm not sure which one to choose. I'm strongly opposed against the Rift S because of the inside-out tracking and the headband audio so I'm thinking about getting a used Vive since you can't buy them new anymore. I'd like to stay below/around $500, and I'd like a PC headset rather than standalone. If there are any other good options, please let me know!
  4. Yes, but those are not active dual-link, therefore they wont support 144 hz
  5. Hello, I recently got a new pc and was disappointed to find out that my graphics card doesn't have a dvi port, (the only one that my monitor supports 144 hz with) does anybody know of a good, not crazy expensive active dual-link dvi-i to displayport adapter? Thank you!
  6. Its for a displayport to dvi adapter

    Hello!

Hi, I am relatively new here. I was just wondering where a good place to post a question about cable adapters would be. Thanks!
  8. Mo5, the reason I don't use HDMI with those standards is because my monitor does not support that kind of HDMI. 191x7, I did find one that would probably work but I really want to be sure its going to work at 144hz. Do you know if this will work? https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=16U-007A-000J1&Description=displayport to dvi dual-link adapter&cm_re=displayport_to_dvi_dual-link_adapter-_-16U-007A-000J1-_-Product Thanks!
  9. Hi, I have a monitor that supports 144hz but only has VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI ports. The only way I can use the full 144hz is by the DVI connector, but my graphics card (RTX 2060) only has 3 DP ports and 1 HDMI port. I can't seem to find any cable that will support 144hz while connecting my monitor and graphics card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
