  1. I just feel that I would get more support from Samsung if something was to go wrong. Also this is a no budget build, I was going to spend at least 5 to 7 grand on this PC as the risk of failure would cost me way more.
  2. havent really seen much of the Team MP34, are they reliable? Because I was gunna go for a 970 EVO 1TB and after searching up the price the 970 was only 20 bucks more expensive than the Team MP34.
  3. Thanks for the suggestion, I was originally going for an 10900 so its quite interesting to see an 10400 on the list. To my knowledge the graph / chart programs can be rather demanding because they are generating info in real time. But thanks for the suggestion though
  4. Budget (including currency): None, just want a slim and really fast computer money can buy Country: Hong Kong (Currently visiting) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Stock trading and lots of graph viewing Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Only used for stocks / trading and lots of graph / charts viewing. Dual maybe triple monitor setup, 60hz is fine. No custom loop but AIO would be nice. Will not be OCing The most important part is it has to be small, mini itx preferred. Fastest CPU / Ram if possible Wont be gaming at all, maybe a GTX 1660TI (?) only there for the IO. Thanks guys, really appreciate it! Update, I would like to include a 10900 or something better as the program is actually really CPU intensive (correct me if im wrong) as it is generating data in real time for multiple if not 10 + charts.
  5. yeah, thanks for the heads up. I will definitely ask him tomorrow how many monitors does he want to work with. Good call!
  6. I think it depends on the person really, in my opinion 144hz is not just for gaming. For example, I am used to using a 240 or a 144hz monitor and going back to 60hz even for office work is quite slow and sluggish(?) I cant work a long period of time with a 60hz monitor anymore, but then again thats just my personal opinion / preference.
  7. Not that I know of, as long as there are enough ports for monitors. The whole dedicated GPU was incase he wants to switch to 144hz
  8. I really wish I can do that but his requirement is a tiny PC. I have no say in this, I am merely doing as told.
  9. Like you said he hates the big tower and messy cables, once we settle on something I will have to install or mount it behind his monitor. The other reason why he wants a prebuild is because he doesnt want to deal with warranty issues, if the machine fails he can just get a new one replaced that kind of mentality
  10. I have zero experience with the NUC, are they good to go out of the box or do I have to add anything else in?
  11. Thank you for the suggestion, I just went to check it out and they all seem really bulky. Something with the size like the Zotac Magnus would really hit the spot
  12. I am at my wits end because I have a family member that is a minimalist and refuses any custom build PC but yet he wants an extremely powerful mini PC, he is only using this for trading and budget is not a problem. Currently this* is the only thing that I can find thats remotely close to what he wants. He prefer an system with an i9 processor and a dedicated graphic cards for multiple monitors. Any help is appreciated guys, thank you! https://www.asus.com/hk-en/Mini-PCs/Mini-PC-PB60G/specifications/
  13. I recently moved to Hong Kong and after moving in I realized that there are only 2 plugs in my room. Back home in Canada I would have a dedicated plug just for my gaming PC since there are plenty of plugs around the room. Now the question is will it be safe to plug my gaming computer + monitor + router + modem and a bunch of random stuff like phone chargers into this surge power protector*? I have zero knowledge in this field and I dont want to damage any computer parts. Any help would be appreciated. *https://www.belkin.com/hk/en/p/P-BSV804-2M / TL;DR Moved to Asia Not Enough plugs Need a power strip is it okay to plug my gaming computer and other things into it?
  14. okay well like @Snipergod87said it would be false advertising if they said it on the website and then not having it. Also I am sure you can find retail stores in your area and ask about it and if all that doesnt work then maybe give them a call?
