  1. I'm not sure because my CPU doesn't have an igpu and my 3080 is still yet to come, so, if I try to boot it up, I won't know for sure, since it won't give me image.
  2. So, today I tried to update my motherboard's BIOS via USB stick in the BIOS Flashback port, using the option to update it without a CPU (ASRock B550 Taichi). I downloaded the file, renamed it to creative.rom, FAT32 format, inserted it in the BIOS port and pressed it for around 3 seconds. Then it started blinking red, and after a while it stopped blinking. Now, I was expecting it to blink green while updating, the manual doesn't say what colour the led blinks while updating, only that if it turns solid green, it means that something went wrong. After unplugging the USB and the AC power, the motherboard blinked the full LEDs twice. What does this mean?
  3. Yeah, I do know It's that cool display that kills me! Although I'm not entirely sure, I believe the NZXT AER RGB fans are daisy chainable, up to 5 fans. So could I hook them up to a 6 PWM fan hub and separately to a NZXT HUE?
  4. Just realized I typo'd it. I meant z73* (both 360mm AIOs).
  5. Budget (including currency): Kind of depends. I'd like to keep it medium-ranged, but if I have to buy 200€ in fans in order to keep my PC from boiling half of my face, I will, slowly. Country: Portugal Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: MMORPG/MOBA games, streaming; light video editing. Other details: Right now, my new build consists of a LianLi PC-O11 Dynamic Black case, a B550 Taichi motherboard from AsRock, with a 3900X, 32GB of G.Skill Trident Z 3466Mhz CL18, a Gaming X Trio 2080 Super, a Fractal Design Ion+ 860W Platinum PSU, a 500gb MP600 and a 4TB HDD. For peripherals I'm using Corsair's K55 RGB keyboard and the Scimitar Pro mouse. My primary display is a 27" IPS 144Hz monitor from Ozone. _______"____________ Right now my problem is how to cool it all down. The PC-O11 has room for 9 fans and I'd like to populate all 9 of them. I saw Dmitry from Hardware Canucks doing some configurations, where he used a 360 Corsair AIO and 6 Corsair ML120 fans, connected to a Corsair Commander Pro. The thing is, the 2 AIO's I'm torn on are Fractal Design's Celsius+ S36 (for it's simplicity and cable free environment) or the NZXT Kraken Z73 (for it's cool display). However, I'm not sure how to connect all the other 6 fans AND control their colors, since the Commander Pro (the RGB software control) only works with Corsair fans. I do love the looks of the AER RGB fans from NZXT, and I can get a pack of them with the Hue for the lighting, but the AER only have light on one side, so I don't know how I'd make it look good both on exhaust and intake. Also, the NZXT hub only has 3PWM fans and I can't find the Grid. What do I do? How do I hook up the AIO + 6 more fans and still control their RPM and color? Is Corsair my only option?
  6. I can't find gameplay with this exact hardware either, since it's a very specific combination in a vast amount of possibilities, but the website says:
  7. Budget (including currency): around 1200€ Country: Portugal Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Final Fantasy XIV Online, stream Other details: I'm currently building a PC, got the RAM (32gb 3466 cl18); got the PSU (fractal's ion 860w plat); the storage (corsair mp600 500gb nvme and a barracuda 4tb HDD); and the cooler (fractal's celsius+ 240 aio). I'm now waiting for the b550 to drop and get an asrock taichi b550. I was going to pair it with a 3700x and a thic iii ultra 5700XT. My goal is to play my games at 1440p (at 100+ fps) and to stream at 1080p60fps. Not sure if possible at all or doable with this kind of hardware. I'm not looking for the best, top of the line performance, lowest cpu and gpu usage, coolest and most silent PC that money can buy anyway. As long as it runs smooth, I'm fine with it. Can I do it? Should I change something in order to do it?
  8. I only chose that PSU cuz it's around the same price as the one I thought about getting in a local retailer, but wasn't listed in the parts list.
  9. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Caeltha/saved/9sZ4qs This is more or less the chosen parts. After doing it in pcpartpicker for USA, I realized the price range I gave in USD was actually wrong ? This build, as is, is 570€ here. Going R3 1300x would make it 595€. Going R5 1400 would make it 600€; R5 1500X 620€.
  10. Hey! So, recently after building my own PC, my sister has asked me to build one for her as well. But after choosing literally every other part of the computer, I feel extremely indecisive as to what CPU I should choose. She gave me a really low budget of 600€ (I live in Portugal, this should be equivalent to like, a $500 USD build in the States). She's not really going to give the computer any extreme use, just some YouTube browsing, stuff like taxes, and some light gaming on the side, on MMORPG's like TERA or single player indie games like Ori. I was thinking of a Ryzen 3 1200 or 1300x, but the 4c/4t have me worried as to if she'll have a bad experience in those games with one of those. Going for a Ryzen 5 1400, for 4c/8t wouldn't break the budget, but starting on the 1500x, it would. And the cheapest 6c/12t goes 100€ over the budget limit. Pls send help
  11. I never experienced a 1440p monitor. Is the difference between 1440p and 1080p very noticeable? And the RTX 2060 doesn't provide a decent 1440p experience? If so, I might be going for the 1080p 144Hz 27".
  12. I should also mention that I'm a retard and I meant X370 and not Z370
