Can i boot into it without recovering data?

Tried to by installing windows 8.1 in c drive didn't complete installation because it was trying to install in f drive (windows 10 boot drive) set c drive as active partition rebooted and now I am here

I had windows 10 installed on f drive in my laptop dell latitude e5440 i tried to move it to c drive long story short , i am getting error of an operating system not found...press crlt-alt-del I have a Ubuntu live usb 4gb pendrive tried installing Ubuntu still get same error. Can live boot to Ubuntu but can't access harddrive files. I have windows 10 installer in the harddrive. No friends who can borrow me a pendrive so can't get that. Any way I can fix it as I have important project data in one partition

which one is correct ? i installed both from dell's actual support page

This is the best answer i got others are just suggestions for better parts my budget is tight and was waiting for black friday deals. I just wanted assurance that with just common sense and carefully handling I will be able to build it. Thanks for the help

0. Actual problem My family and friends and every soul I told that I wanna build a pc replied "you dont have any experience/ you haven't seen anyone build a pc/ what if parts break?" LG monitor LG keyboard LG mouse He got it back in 2008 from LG as a prize while he use to sell mobile and electronics. I am from India so it might help in finding Its almost 11 years old and I want to make it a sleeper PC but i can't find any model number for the case I'll be grateful if someone can find what its model is and if i can/should mod this for hardline water-cooling. Master box 5 lite is cheaper than cheap case + RGB fans so won't change the case but might go with your plan insted of costly RGB GPU and RAM

Hi I am from India and have a budget of approx. 50,000 INR or about 700 USD. I want to edit videos on premier pro, make some blender render, program a bit, play some light games like NFS ,The crew, etc I will most probably use a tv 1280x720@60. I might upgraded to a 1920x1080@60 Android tv while using previous one as secondary display Peripherals would likely be cheap from local stores or might buy a wireless bundle for 1099 INR (if possible within budget suggest any cheap RGB peripherals) Why I am upgrading well, I had this pc Asus p5kpl Am/ps . Pentium 4 @2.6Ghz . Stock cooler . 1Gb DDR2 ram . Off brand power supply 500w . LG case . LG monitor . LG mouse . LG keyboard ( some keys don't work now). LG CD/DVD drive but it only worked with DVD no CD. So my old pc stopped working (BTW its all LG because my dad won it as a prize from a LG event he used to sell phone ) . The motherboard was changed once. I am thinking to convert it as a sleeper PC later but for now the VGA output is broken and the fan starts for a few sec then stops. All local technicians are either after your money or just don't know what they are doing the only fan in the cabinet was unplugged and I contacted a local technicians the ask for visiting fees even if they can't fix it. So I am here this is a list i made in pc_parts_picker. PC parts I am an Intel guy and would like to stick with Asus motherboard and MasterBox Lite 5 RGB case Can it be made any more cheaper please help
