  1. I recently bought a new (asus pce-ac51 ac750) and it has been working great up until last week. but now I can barely do anything with the wifi. However if I connect a lan-cable to the router no problem 100/100 connection. I can't log into my router either maybe there is something wrong with that (the router)? I just figured out I can't do that on any of my other devices like I normally would. Maybe I should just call the company who I bought the new router from? And ask them if this a common problem and if they know what is wrong?
  2. Also it wont let me connect to the 5ghz only the 2.4ghz network, whats up with that? could it be my drivers?
  3. Sometimes it will not let me connect to the network, and when i finally do get connection it says "no acces" because of some proxy settings (showed in picture). I can try chaning the channel on my router but do you really think that is the problem when i dont experience any problems what so ever on any of my other devices. Thank you.
  4. Hello Everybody. I Recently upgraded my network card, and got at new router installed professionally. (it was 10 years old) But in the past few days I have been experiencing a very unstable network connection on my desktop. Up until last week I had no problems and I got my 100/100 connection through wifi. However, last week something happened, and all of a sudden my internet is very unstable and it keeps dropping in speed, sometimes it even disconnects me. This problem only occurs to me and on my main PC. I have checked for the recent drivers, I even wiped my drive and reinstalled windows, and i simply just cannot figure out what is causing this problem. If anyone has experienced something like this, or just know a fix. Please let me know. Best regards Magnus Dahl from Denmark.
  5. Thank you very much for you help and explanations. You really helped me out
  6. oh ofc. so i will need to buy the adapter and one of the M.2 cards, and get optimal results?
  7. So all the cards you mentioned before will go in the PCI express port?
  8. But those all go into my motherboard is that correct? and how do i know if my motherboard is compatible?
  9. Does the fenvi one just plug into PCI-E and supports 5ghz?
  10. so i tried changing it to 802.11b/g/n. and i ran a speedtest at the 2.4ghz network, and compared it to the speedtest on my laptop taken 1 minuite appart at the same spot. could that be caused by the old network card in my desktop?
  11. Thank you for the quick response If i buy a new network card that support 802.11ac, will i be able to use the 5ghz then?
  12. So, i just got a new router that supports 5ghz. But i can only see the 2.4ghz network under available Networks. that got me thinking if i was to far away from the router, but im only 10ft away and it works fine on my laptop. So maybe it is my network card (ASUS PCE-N10 11n) that isn't setup correctly. can any of you guys tell me if it supports 5ghz, or if it's just set up incorrectly. Thank you
  13. So, i just bought a new monitor with 2560x1440p and 144hz resolution, and i just thought that i could use a regular HDMI port but clearly i can't run 1440p in 144hz. My question is: if i buy a displayport 1.2 (the only other outlet my GPU has) will it show 1440p in 144hz?
