  1. Did it happen right away when you first turned it on in the new house, or was it good for a while?
  2. I don't really remember. We don't really get any power cuts or blackouts. Only an occasional light dimming for a second if there's a big thunderstorm. But this is normal and none of that should cause a problem. If PCs are really so terribly sensitive then I'm just gonna give up on owning one.
  3. I tried a Windows reinstall. Formatted my SSD. After installing Win and GPU drivers, I installed Uplay and AC3 first, I wanted to test a game before before installing any other app or feature. The problem was still present.
  4. I also suffer from bufferbloat. Could it be that whatever is affecting the GPU might be affecting the network adapter as well?
  5. That's really weird, since basically everybody uses a power strip for their computers.
  6. GTA V has a built in VSR option. It makes the patterns finer, but it's still noticeable.
  7. I also posted another video in 1080p with the problem clearly visible. The difference is obvious. God, I'm gonna have to buy a 1080p monitor just to get rid of these people saying my resolution is the issue...
  8. This video looks good. Skip to 7:00 for best example. No massive shimmering on any buildings (only slight shimmering on the louvres which actually IS normal and acceptable).
  9. Maybe USA gets quality products and the rest of the world, which is not as important as teh USA, gets the discarded hardware that didn't pass quality control. Happy 4th of July
  10. Problem solved - we will just buy new PCs every two weeks that was a joke, no offense intended It would be great if it really was a software issue, but apparently no one in the world knows how to reset it back.
  11. I'm sorry if anything I said was offensive. Here are my opinions, reached after three months of detailed testing: A VGA adapter is irelevant, since people without an adapter have this issue as well. My resolution is irelevant, since people have the same problem at 1080p, as shown above. I tried super resolution, FXAA, 8xMSAA and none of that made much difference. Constantly focusing on these suggested fixes, when they have been proven ineffective just makes the entire thread go round in circles and doesnt help anyone.
  12. With the evidence that there was no change when I tried these things. As for resolution, heres the same problem in 1080p:
