  1. Any luck so far? I'm having the same issue on my monitor and was hoping to find a solution.
  2. After a month of being held in customs my keyboard finally came in today. However when I plugged it in nothing lights up and typing doesn’t work. It's now popping up as "Device Not Recognized" by Windows and I can't seem to find a driver for it anywhere online. The software for RGB is the only thing I can find, and it doesn't seem to do anything since the device is not being recognized as plugged in. I’ve already tried numerous usb 3.0 and 3.1 ports so that is not the issue.
  3. I recently got a new headset, the steelseries arctis pro, which has two separate sound sources, one for the game and one for the rest of my audio. When I try to use shadowplay instant replay it only records the game audio. Is there a way to set it up so both audio sources are recorded? Do I need to use a virtual cable? http://prntscr.com/s9g4yt.png
  4. I first noticed this issue from the Discord voice and video settings section. If I had the microphone from my bluetooth earbuds enabled then I could not hear anything, but if I had my default laptop mic enabled I could hear things fine. Additionally, when I joined a voice channel on Discord with the bluetooth earbuds mic enabled I could not hear anything from other applications. Initially I thought this was a Discord issue, but I just now found that the same thing happens if I am viewing the "Recording" window in sound settings. If the bluetooth mic is enabled, I can't hear audio from anything; and as soon as I disable it audio starts playing fine again. After a brief search online I couldn't find anyone else having the issue, so decided to come here instead. If anyone has some insight that may be useful it would be greatly appreciated. Needless to say, this issue has been a pain in the ass. If you're curious, I've had the issue occur on AirPods, and I'm using Windows 10 Home x64 (1809).As far as I know all of my audio and bluetooth drivers are up to date. I have not personally tested with any other bluetooth headsets although I did find someone who was having the same issue with Beats Solo3 Headphones on Windows 10 Pro x64 (1803).
  5. Is there anywhere that I can go for some of the top performing ram options? I'm curious as to what my budget will allow.
  6. Email verification / account transaction proof / transaction numbers from Newegg should be valid proof of purchase right?
  7. Aha... I'm just making sure. I appreciate it.
  8. I've been looking at this sale on newegg for an EVGA 2070. ( https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487412 ) It has pretty low reviews from January but I think that's just due to some defective products from Q1. Considering EVGA's warranty policies, if on the off chance that I get a defective product, will I be fine or will it be money down the drain?
  9. Obviously the XC ultra will perform the best, but is it worth the extra $100 or will it be unnoticeable? I'm going to be gaming/video editing/rendering if that makes a difference. Hardware comparisons: https://www.evga.com/products/Compare.aspx
  10. I'm not the most experienced in the field so I've been making most of my decisions off of data that people have put out there rather than my own knowledge, but according to this the 2070 performs better and then the 2080 is better than both. https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/compare/GeForce-RTX-2070-vs-Radeon-VII-vs-GeForce-RTX-2080/4001vs4050vs3989
  11. Is there a benefit I'm missing from that gpu besides the extra vram? From first glance it looks like it's significantly more expensive with worse performance. I'm pretty sure I won't need the extra 8gb of vram so seems like a waste of money. Also, I've read that the Intel 660p doesn't do well under stress which is why I chose the combination of samsung storage options instead.
  12. I appreciate you putting this build together, but it seems like overall it's just a downgrade. Essentially it's jut a tier lower build performance wise while only saving me a fraction of the cost.
  13. I made sure that the second fan for nhd15 will have clearance over the ram, but I'm not really sure how to approach the other dimensional issues that may arise. Any advice would be appreciated. 14. lol, I'm contemplating between the 4 of them really but wasn't sure where to post them all together so just made two posts.
  15. I'm building a new PC and wondering whether I should go for the H100i Pro or the H115i Pro. The H100i is obviously the cheaper option, but I'm worried that it won't be enough cooling for the i7-9700k. Some clarity would be appreciated.
  16. I'm building a new PC and wondering whether I should go for the NH-D15s, or the NH-D15 with one of the fans lifted to fit the ram. The NH-D15s is obviously the cheaper option, but I'm worried that it won't be enough cooling for the i7-9700k. Some clarity would be appreciated.
  17. Looking to build a PC based around RTX 2070 and i7-8700k combo, looking for advice on the rest of the build. Price range is looking to be around $2,000, but if I could lower it without harming the build that would also be great. I'm also looking to buy a 144hz monitor with the build, and I'm looking for suggestions on the best pick. I'm going to be purchasing a 1tb ssd alongside the build, and already have an additional 256gb ssd for booting off of. Build is going to be for mixture of intense gaming + streaming + video editing/rendering. Ideally looking for something that excels in all of these areas. *I don't really have a desire for RGB components, but will take them if there's no price alteration. 1) I'm pretty stuck on the 2070 as it appears to be the best bang for my buck at the highest performance level. However, I'm not really sure if the processor combo is the best case scenario. Honestly just chose the i7-8700k based on the ratings/benchmarks on it, but I'm clueless as to whether it actually makes sense from a compatibility standpoint. Also, I'm not sure which company to buy the 2070 through as there are so many options. What are the pros and cons of MSI vs Gigabyte vs EVGA etc... 2) (CPU Cooler) - NH-D15s vs H115i Pro - I know the pros and cons of water cooling and fan cooling, but I still am not really sure what to pick. Any insight would be appreciated, as well as alternative cpu cooler suggestions. 3) (RAM) - 2x8 3200 vs 4x8 3200 - Will 16gb be enough ram for everything I'll want to do? I don't want to run into any problems here so will buy the extra if I need to. However, if it's overkill then I don't want to waste money on it. 4) (Motherboard) - I'm honestly a bit clueless as far as motherboards go. I've been looking at the z370 vs z390-a pro but have no idea how to compare them to one another. 5) (Case) - I'm also relatively clueless as far as cases go. I want something that's going to fit everything in side with good airflow, but I don't know anything about how the individual cases are for cable management/space etc... 6) (Power Supply) - I've been looking at the EVGA SuperNOVA G3 750w 80+ Gold ATX. Is this a good pick? I want to have some extra wiggle room for wattage, but not sure if this is too much overkill or not.
