  1. Do you know the reason for the green lines for you GPU? I have the same issue and the same strix card.

  2. Hmm yeah, I recently installed Windows and it pretty much went straight to 1803 and now recently to 1903. But I'm not sure it's related. Would've been nice to know what's causing it.
  3. I've encountered this weird issue lately where my cursor becomes messed up in Windows. I took a little video of it. Has anyone seen this before and know what's going on? It fixes itself if I log out and back in again.
  4. I'm getting a new brand now, it hasn't been sent yet but the guy on the phone said he could send me a different card back and I got approval on the Trio X instead. But I have one question, is it, in any way, possible that the monitor causes issues to the GPU? It's the only thing I haven't switched out yet, and I remember the very first time I plugged it in I got a blue-screen. But it played nice after a format that time, and I assumed it was the USB hub integrated in it as I also plugged in that at the time. And I've never plugged in that again after that time. To me it seems highly unlikely that the monitor is the issue. My monitor is an ultrawide Asus PG348q I notice some small random crackles from its speakers some times.. Pretty frequent I just can't help but be paranoid now that the 4th card I get also will fail eventually after some time.
  5. I can probably get a refund instead of a new strix. And get the msi trio-x or something instead. Or just ask them to send me the trio-x instead of the strix. I tried taking out the card and put it in my girlfriends computer now instead, surprised to find that it didn't have those green lines there, but it bluescreened after a short while with the error: video_scheduler_internal_error And the card made a buzzing sound when using the GPU Now her pc only has a 500w psu though so not 100% sure the BSOD was from too little power or the card itself. But most likely the GPU I take it
  6. Okay, well thanks, it's reassuring to hear the very least. Both of you The worst part about it all is that I have to be without a gpu again for a week or more while waiting for a replacement. Only to install it and wait for it to die basically. I'm starting to lose hope the 4th won't fail. I said the same about the 3rd and my friends said that I can't be that unlucky. Well, I was ? All 3 have failed differently at least. First one melted, went black and smelled burnt. Second one gradually got more artifacts. And now the third BSOD and looks like it has a bad connection in the cable and doesn't show in printscreens and loses all stats in gpu-z
  7. Yeah, I'm struggling to believe how bad luck I'm having here, I mean 3 cards, in a row. RTX launch doesn't seem to go smooth Yet the im loving the tech behind it. I just want a card that doesn't die. I'm getting paranoid if it's really the cards or there's something in my computer causing it. But I've swapped out everything and I don't think old hard-drives can do this. Can my monitor have an error breaking gpus? I've never heard about that before jut 3 gpus makes one think, then again I didn't really have gpu issues with the 1080 I had before the upgrade. So frustrating, I've sent a case directly to Asus this time. The other RMA cases were handled by the online store I bought it from. I just wish they could give me a card they were confident won't fail. This is how it looks now. These lines also jump all over the place when there's movement on the screen.
  8. Yeah I ordered a new corsair rm850x And a new hdd that I needed anyways. Figured I'd start a fresh windows as well this time with the third card. Seemed fine and dandy until today. I checked it with Gpu-z, and was a bit iffy when I saw the new one had micron vram but hoped it would be fine still. And it has been until today, hadn't noticed any artifacts or anything. Games ran super smooth, I did hear some buzzing under load but sounded like coil whine so I didn't think much of it after a few days when it seemed fine and dandy. Right now about an hour ago that changed. I saved my game of satisfactory, exited to desktop and watched some twitch. Went to the bathroom for 3 min and when I got back, the pc had rebooted showing login screen of Windows 10, and a bunch of green lines across the screen.... This time they didn't show on the print screen though. So I opened Gpu-z, and nearly all sensors doesn't show, and bandwidth info and vram info etc shows as unknown.. Can it be!? 3rd card I receive also has a problem? I mean except the 1 week lifetime I really love the performance I get on the ultrawide 34" monitor i use. And the fan noise is minimal, temperatures are between 32C idle and to 65C under load. I'm so sad right now..
  9. Thank you for the support. I'm really hoping the next one will be fine. For the psu I really can't help it to feel there's something as its the only thing that remains and the fact that with it I've had rma on motherboard and 3 gpus and now an ssd that suddenly disappears until I power off and on again.
  10. Yeah, first one I had got fried, and this one has this.. Oh well RMA approved so hopefully it'll get processed faster this time
  11. My thoughts exactly, I turned the computer off for now until I get a hold of the Customer Service tomorrow morning. Afraid it's no return for this card now. This is dragging me down...
  12. I have the new Samsung memory type as well that I read should be a "Fix" for this as it is the newer type. But apparently not. And this happened as I was going to check that, this is right after this happened above here.
  13. Yeah, I'm not willing to take the chance on it not being the PSU, so I will hear if it's still covered as we've discussed it with their tech side earlier as well. And if they don't cover it but only gives me a new GPU i'll buy a new one anyways because I will not take the chance on it messing up any more and being insecure about it. I just tried some games on Apex again now, and I got about 2-3 games in before the artifacts started showing up and worse than ever before. More spaceinvaders on my desktop after exit than ever before too.
  14. yeah that's what I'm going to do, I will talk with them tomorrow, if it's covered by them then great, if not I'll buy a new one. Should I wait with returning the GPU until I get the new PSU to see if the issues are perished? I really really hope I don't have to loose my GPU for a third time, I rely on it for work, and I'm really happy with the card I got, it's so silent compared to the one I RMA'd and it hasn't crashed on me at all until this started happening after prolonged use in Satisfactory.
  15. It's a Corsair 860AX bought in January 2014 Okay, yeah it's what I fear given how much issues it's been with this and now the PSU being the only thing that's left of what I had originally. I might talk with the tech-support at the store about it as well as I've mentioned it earlier as a concern. I'm just worried it might cause permanent damage to the new components I just got this month as well.
