  1. How many fans can you hook up to an rgb splitter until it's too much?
  2. Hey Linus and friends! I know how unenthusiastic you and the professional PC community are about RGB elements Linus, but I see it as another set of components to further expand my build. Though I don't think RGB setups will haul in the ladies, its nice to look at the shiny aesthetics and say to myself "I conquered that, and boy does it look nice." So on to the meat of topic. I use an Asus motherboard, the maximus XI formula to be specific. I intend to take advantage of the aura sync software. I will be using a lot of case fans. A minimum of 8, I might consider adding even more. I intend to take full advantage of the phanteks enthoo luxe 2 chassis when it releases. If I want 8 fans to utilize the aura sync software, I would need to use RGB splitters because most mobos that support RGB fans come with a maximum of 2 headers. I can't help but wonder if this is the most effective route? I know there are fan hubs and controllers, but some of the hubs don't allow fan control speed. The fan controllers don't support mobo RGB software because they don't connect to the RGB headers. There are some hubs that support RGB and fan speed control, but you have to use their exclusive software. I have RGB peripherals that I would like to sync with my fans. What I'm asking is, what's the most effective way to have multiple fans and peripherals connected to asus aura sync software? I would like to entire just one program to alter all my RGB preferences and controls.
