  1. MX Clear. maybe WASD's CODE Keyboard. I'm going to get one of these. I like blues stiffness and bump but browns lack of clicky.
  2. CM Storm Quickfire TK http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-QuickFire-TK-Mechanical/dp/B00A378L4C/ref=sr_1_2?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=1-2 CM Storm Quickfire Ultimate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823129026 Thats about it for around $100 and under mechanical KBs. Max Keyboard NightHawk X7 http://www.amazon.com/Max-Keyboard-Nighthawk-X7-Backlit-Mechanical/dp/B00G9HROV6
  3. 450D over H440 for mid towers. But really Phanteks Enthoo Pro for around that price range. Because why not full tower. IMO
  4. you could buy a window for your phantom 630. NZXT sales them directly. Their isn't much reason to switch to it from a Phantom 630. IMO Buy it if you want to. It mostly a cosmetic and size change from what you are using already. Phanteks Cases right now are the only thing I'd consider swapping to. Everything else on the market hasn't shaken things up in awhile for a long time.
  5. H630 w/ window panel. if you really want a bit of both. but you wouldn't gain anything with the H630 outside of external looks. i'd stay with the phantom 630 unless your going to get a Phanteks case or some other highly regarded case. that's what i'd do with my Phantom 630.
  6. Umm...Yeah...Giving suggestion not shopping for you.
  7. CM Storm Devastator Combo if you on a budget. If available in a store you can access. Link for Reference. http://www.amazon.com/CM-Storm-Devastator-Keyboard-Edition/dp/B00DKXXAAQ
  8. I might. I couldn't tell the difference from MX blue from razer green beyond the actuation point on the razer switch being higher. Although I'm now more interested in hunting down a MX Clear board then waiting for a RGB one to release. Probably get a CODE from WASD.
  9. Mionix makes a mouse like that too but feels a bit weird to me. not bad but ehh. I guess I got use to the Finger hang off already. kind of why I said the collection thing. I like to switch my gear around in rotation just cause. Get to try out stuff and help comment on these posts better.
  10. You should get a MX sampler to try out the switches first. But... MX Blacks/Browns/Blues would be a good starting point IMO, if your going to jump right in it from a membrane. My personal favorite would be MX Clear if you can find a board with it. otherwise I go back and forth on Blue/Browns. blues for the bump and browns for quiet. The clicky noise doesn't bother me but at the same time if i don't need it then why have it. so MX clears make sense to me. The Rare Middle Ground switch. CODE Keyboard from WASD if you think you may like clears. not cheap though and very plain.
  11. this. Their is always some finger hang off on most mice on the market. I've used a Deathadder 3.5G in the past (like it a lot;very basic shape) and I've tried out a G502 at a shop near me. (best feel in hand from any mouse I've tired) I currently use a Razer Taipan. I like Slim Ambi mouse for fingertip claw grip I use. although you need to adjust grip style. Thumb and pinky finger are the only ones to grip the mouse on the side. Its a bit different than normal but feel good IMO. buy a G502 and try it out. would be my suggestion. Keyboard & Mouse collection FTW! lol
  12. Nope. Probably the last part you'd want to cut corners on.
  13. I haven't had an issue with them. I wear glasses too. Their worth trying IMO. The mic accessory is pretty decent for VOIP/Comms.
  14. Headsets worth trying: IMO Kingston HyperX Cloud PC 350 SE (daily driver) Headphones I've used and recommend. HD380 Pro (same as PC 350 SE) HD558 DT770 250 ohms Custom One Pros M50x V-Moda LP2 Mics that are usually recommended zalman mic modmic 4.0 blue snowball/yeti
  15. sound like you should wait for a K70 RGB or get a ducky. if you can sacrifice the blue leds, a CM Storm quickfire would be a good choice too.
  16. IIRC Its not recommended to power a second strip off the one that came with the HUE controller. I read that from the manual or a support ticket from their site. its been awhile. I use a NZXT HUE in my Phantom 630 and it was more then long enough to wrap around 1 time. Provided more then enough light on full brightness.
  17. currently using MaxKeyboard NightHawk X8 White LED w/ Razer Taipan I like to switch up my gear every once and awhile. I'll probably get a K70 RGB and a G502 Proteus Core to add to the rotation.
  18. Save your money. Buy either a R9 270X or GTX 760. You'll be happier that you did. Decent GFX don't start till you reach $200 Good/Great at $300+
  19. can't say. never tried a markus. nearest ikea to me is 4-5 hour drive to San Jose. I did the recommended sit on all the chairs thing at both an office max and depot. hated every one of them except one but it wasn't made well. The M Series chair I have is really nice. made very well. PVC leather has that new car smell. comfort is like a sports car seat with more plush padding (Derp "Racing Seat" LOL). but not in a spongy way its not going to let you sink into it. I 100% recommend one if you fallen into the description I already mentioned.
  20. HyperX. Better Build Quality and Good Sound. Nothing comes close in the headset market to it at its $100 USD price and that is a value for what it is. Price is $80 now...Didn't know that. No reason to not get it now.
  21. GT Omega/DXRacer/Maxnomic If you sit for more then 6-8 hours a day and want something with a Premium/Luxury feel their great. I own a DXRacer OH/MY03/N and its been very good to me. You'll never go back to a walmart/office depot/max special again. Price is high and reflects that the product is a luxury good. Factor how much time you sit and for how long. How much time do you use your current chair? You'll have an answer to this and decide if its worth it to you.
  22. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_Display_Mounting_Interface Basically a Metal Mount that screws into the back of the Monitor or TV. EX: Monitor Arms are very nice and popular if your stand is bad/wobbles or if you have more monitors but want to use less space.
  23. VESA Mount if it bothers you. I have a VS247-HP. The stand isn't bad but nor is it the best. Only wobbles if your in an earthquake or the desk isn't stable.
  24. I'd go with the Enthoo Luxe. although I haven't seen many requests for a mid tower case in living room before. most ppl ask for the smallest thing possible for a pc thats in that setup.
