  4. Rig Specs I7-4770k 16 gigs of DDR3 1600hz Ram Rtx 2080 Ultra XC Primary Display 2560×1440p VA panel 70hz. What I Like to Upgrade: I7-9700k 16gigs of DDR4 3200hz Ram OR Aliewnware Ultrawide LG 34 Ultra wide Acer 34 Predator Ultrawide I have enough money for one or the other and in all likely hood i would have to wait 1+ years before i can do another major component upgrade. 5. It's a 379.99 card used on any other site
  6. Mods can you shut down this thread so I place in correct area
  7. Selling $250 bucks(dollars) shipping from my end, money up front can email photos of said card, still have box and cables came with it. Has about 19 months used can show you my oirginal purchase date. No scuffs, dents, marks or scratches. Like new.
  8. Thank for your response, it seems to me that most folk would agree that for general use a high res choice would be good.
  9. correct. My main usage would simply for my gaming hobby. I do single player games but i do enjoy battlefield
  10. i can see that, its a heavy competition game
  11. got me a i7-4770k 24g of ram and fixing to thrown a 2080 in there
  12. ya know its funny i heard someting similar but that its about past 100hz where only a handful of people (like less then 10 percent) of the test group could accurately tell the difference
  13. hmmm interesting so if its a high pace game like battlefield you could theoretically have advantage with a high refresh panel.... the trade of course the higher resolution sooo many choices....
  14. i appericate you feedback, is there any reason why?
  15. In my last thread i spoke about monitors i was considering, however the real question i should of ask is IN YOUR OPINION, what resolution+refresh rate do you feel is best. The story is i plan to get a new graphics card and eventually a new panel. I just wonder if i should stay at 1440p and get a higher refresh rate or should i make the jump to 4 k but stuck within the bounds of 60.
  16. thank you for your insight, its becoming clear to me that perhaps i title this thread incorrectly, i should be asking if i should be playing on high res low fps or i good rez at high fps
  17. Be very careful with the Samsung Model, it has very poor quality control, my neighbor had to send it back twice before he got a good one and HDR DOES NOT WORK in this model.
  18. was it that much of a improvement to have high refresh rate? what where you gaming on before and could you see the difference? i read somewhere that getting past around 100hz the eye has a harder time picking up on anything greater
  19. no, i think 1440p looks great, i usually play single player games with a the occasional multiplayer title thrown in there to mix thing up
  20. Wow, i went to get a sandwich and response i got are good! Well as for games i'm playing witcher 3 right now and bouncing between battlefield 5. If i was to put a pin in to type of games i play i would say single player games are my favorite
  21. I recently watch a video about this topic from Linus, he made really good point about 4 K gaming. The video is a year old and I'm fixing to get a EVGA RTX 2080 XC Ultra and I WA curious if it be worth getting a new monitor, I still have old faithful, a 32 inch 75 hz 1440p. Thoughts?
  22. Planning to get the "ultra" version with that brick of a cooler. My case is also a full tower with bunch of fans and most importantly rgb, everyone knows turning to the color blue instantly knocks off 10 degrees ?
