  1. Thank you so much for your reply. I just wanted to do what the seller was suggesting in the instructions: Not have pads on those things So, my thoughts now: Should be safe to not have pads on those things? And should be safe even if they do have contact with the block itself? It's a chinese brand after all. So part of me wants to doubt their quality assurance.
  2. Hi Folks, Got my first gpu block, and it's from a brand called bykski. Got it from Aliexpress, my only option. The seller sent instructions for some cpu block instead of this block, can be a human error. But I did find instructions online, and I am a bit concerned about what I am seeing there. While I am waiting on the sellers response, I am partially convinced they will just send me the same stuff I found online already. Based on the instructions: (attached) They are not telling me to use pads on those rectangular capacitors -- LR22 The GPU's own cooloer has pads for those capacitors as well though. The pads used by Palit (my cards manufaturer) used different color pads for those capacitors. And these same pads were used on the backplat as well. So my best guess is: These capacitors, and whats on the back of the card just need to be insolated Or don't require as much cooling But adding pads where there's no space migth cause bad contact with the die itself. I am just worried about potentially shorting the card itself due to some kind of direct contact. Details: GPU: Palit GameRock 3080TI (non-OC) Block: n-pt3090gr-x

  5. Hmmmm.... I just hope my mobo doesn't die out on me .... but I guess ill wait for the launch and then for it to be available here....
  6. +++Respect (don't know if ppl do this anymore)
  7. I didn't price out all of them.... just the 2700x and 8700k are other CPU's around that power range...
  8. I didn't check prices for these guys but there wasn't much saving if I were to go with a 2700x .... I may end up just keeping my 6600k as its been more then a golden chip.... but i need to run a whole bunch of VM's for work and I do some video and animation stuff (still learning) so more cores would help.....
  9. Thanks alot :)... will look them up..
  10. I forgot to add "AMD cost just as much as Intel where I live :P"
  11. I wasnt able to find a 650 watt PSU from any good brands but ill check again....
  12. Thanks... I am looking in to that already but AMD cost just as much as Intel and doesn't have as much of resale...
  13. I paid over $1100 for all that and it was my first pc.... wanted to get a 7700k which rare over here and cost almost as much as 8700k... and may be someone posts stuff here cause they don't know better or don't have the same market as other countries..
