Bit of a weird question but I'm trying to figure out what the closest pc cpu is in comparison to the eryxnos 9820, both in speed and power. Im more familiar with intels line of processors for comparison.

How about the Cryorig R1 ultimate, not a huge cut into the wallet, and seems smaller/quieter. Only issue is it doesn't say it fits an 1151

Looking at upgrading to a gigabyte z390 aorus elite and either an i7 9700k or i9 9900k, but have come to a blind halt when it comes to cooling. I'd rather stick to air cooling as I've heard far too many horror stories with water cooled rigs, but I'm fairly out of the loop when it comes to what's needed in a system these days. I'm not planning on Overclocking much, if any, so it will mostly be off stock cpu heats/speeds, but I live in northern Aus, so outside temperatures tends to sit at 34-42C for large potions of the year. The system tends to be on almost all the time, and games are run on it maybe 4-8 hours a day I currently have a coolermaster hyper 212X, though have been told that won't be enough for these cpu. I'll be looking at spending up to about 150AUD (about 106 usd) Any recommendations, advice would be greatly appreciated.
