  1. It's often stylized as eSports anyway. Don't think it matters at all though.
  2. Hi, basically, I got a GT 1030 card that only supports 120hz output through its HDMI 2.0 port. I also got a monitor that can accept 144hz through DisplayPort or DVI-D dual link. My GPU also has DVI-D but it's single link so it won't be able to send 120 or 144hz at all. Right now I'm using a regular HDMI cable and of course, I'm only getting 60hz. My question is, does anyone know if any manufacturer sells reliable HDMI to DisplayPort or HDMI to DVI dual-link adapters that can push 120hz? I know that a much better alternative is to upgrade my GPU but in the near future I can only upgrade to a 1050ti which would be pointless since I was planning a more substantial upgrade in summer. I just want to know if I can use my monitor at 120hz on this card with an adapter. So far I've had less than ideal experience with a DVI-D to VGA adapter (Benfei IIRC) that was so bad that I had to crank up the brightness in every single game to see anything at all in mildly dark environments, which is the reason why I'm asking for advice here. I definitely prefer to waste money on a 1050ti rather than pay for an adapter like that again. Anything that can ship to the US is fine by me. The card in particular is EVGA GT 1030 GDDR5 SC and the monitor is an Asus VG248QE. Just to be clear I knew I wouldn't be able to use 144hz or 120hz right off the bat when I bought the monitor, but I really had to get rid of my old 768p monitor that I had for ~10 years, especially since the brightness with that adapter was outright atrocious. Thanks in advance! P.S. I've tried looking at Amazon listings but most of them contain conflicting answers where some buyers say the adapters support 120hz but some say they don't. It's especially hard to filter through these because their search engine can't really differentiate between HDMI to DisplayPort or DisplayPort to HDMI, which are not the same, and none of the bidirectional ones even claim to offer 120hz lol. I'm just hoping that someone here has had the same issue and maybe knows a product that I could safely buy.
