  1. Normally when a person decides to upgrade/update their gaming rig we either start from a blank canvas or we do it part by part, the two most important parts are your cpu or gpu which dictates your system's outlook or performance. So here's my question : When you purchase a model of gpu you have decided on, what dictates your choice of that model? Brand? Cooling? Color? Design? Lighting? Price tag? Sound? Size? I usually go for the cheapest of the model I want and try to get it in black.
  2. Adobe light room (Raw files) , Adobe photoshop(for watermarking and recording) , Camera raw, Google Nik, Define 2 pro edition, FX Pro, Alternative : Capture One Pro(uses this software over Adobe mostly) , And some video editing software I really don't understand.
  3. Just hope your future wife doesn't turn into a bridezilla when you get married
  4. He starts work at 4am, you try working with overly emotional, overly demanding, overly bitchy, overly loud women aka "bridezillas" that want the "perfect wedding photos" from 5am til 6pm. And he's got to be nice to them while working for them. *shivers*
  5. Hmm let's see, dying battery, taking forever to load windows 7,games at 1080p 30 - 40 frames, my favorite problem faulty screen (blacks out after 2 hrs of use), got to love dell We were thinking of getting him. That $4000 4k monitor till he said "get me a working computer first"
  6. It's 10pm at night he's probably asleep.
  7. Not sure, I never ask about his work usually. He works for a wedding photographer, he does editing for them to make bridezillas into goddesses that's what he told me before. Wedding photos and videos.
  8. He does his work on a laptop at the moment, but it's 5 years old
  9. If you can don't work for the next 3 months I'd be amazed, I think I'll talk to him to get a 8700k
  10. I'm asking on behalf of my brother, he's planing a new 1080p-1440p system for both work and play. Requirements : For work : Able to do color correction, photo editing, photo image resolution restoration. For gaming : play games at 1080p (100 - 144fps) -1440p (70 - 110fps) on QHD 1m-sec 165hrtz freesync "27" inch curved. Games : Shadows of the Tomb Raider, Forza 4, Smite, Rocket League, Apex Legends, CS-Go, Dirt 4,World of Tanks. CPU options : i5 9400F, R5 2600X GPU options : Vega 56 8gb, RTX 2060 6gb, or the zotac's rtx 2080 twin fan (cheapest 2080)- not sure if it'll bottleneck. Ram option : Crucial Ballistix Elite 3200mhz cl15 16gb (8gb x 2 sticks) Questions Is the rtx 2080 overkill? Should he go eve higher tier for his work cpu wise?
  11. I see they compared the rtx 2070 to the 2060 I can see what you mean rtx 2060 cost around $500-700
  12. I'm picking out parts for my rvz03 itx build with a ryzen r5 2600, I'm looking at 3 low profile coolers for the build. Im ordering them by newegg international Cryorig C1 sgd$69.90 (140mm slim fan) BeQuiet shadow rock lp sgd$49.90 (120mm fan) Noctua nh-L9a (sgd$79.90) (90mm fan) I know the noctua is the quietest among all the three but wilp the C1 or the shadow rock do a worse job cooling the cpu they have bigger fans and is cheaper.
  13. Everyone I ask tells me the rtx 2070 is a bad value as a gpu, if it's such a bad value why did Linus use 12 asus strix rtx 2070s for the LTT game lounge build? And what's so bad value about the card? In Singapore a rtx 2070 cost between $750-$850 a card the cheapest rtx 2080 cost $1080-$1270each.
  14. The gpu slot for the rvz03 comes with a slim 15mm width fan, I plan to switch it out to a fractal design prisma 25mm fan will it fit with dual slot gpu like the zotac's Rtx 2080 8gb twin fan.
  15. The TD-03 Slim is good for tight spaces, otherwise I would not recommend it to anyone.
  16. I already tested the cpu it can hit 4.0 ghz on a hyper 212 at 1.29 mvolts, but not sure about C1 cooler.
  17. I am thinking of doing a slim itx gaming system, but I have a few questions about the build and case. This are the parts I intend to use for the build : Silverstone RVZ03-Black Ryzen R5 2600 (overclocked processor 4.0 ghz) - from my home gaming system Cryorig C1 140mm low profile cpu cooler Msi B450i gaming plus ac - from my gaming system Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000mhz cl15 16gb - 8gb x 2 sticks Zotac RTX 2080 8gb twin fan - 284mm/57mm - from my gaming system Crucial MX500 500gb m.2 ssd Crucial MX500 1tb 2.5inch ssd Corsair SF600 SFX 600w 80+ gold modular Fans Fractal Design Prisma RGB AL 120mm x 2 Fractal Design Prisma RGB AL 140mm x 1 Questions: I know the C1 comes with a slim 140mm fan but if I change out the fan will the cooler still fit in the case? Will the additional dual fractal fans fit in with the gpu I have? Will the C1 be able to sustain the overclock I have on my ryzen 2600?
  18. I know of the fans but when you looked up the case I looked at the front panel, it doesn't look like there be much air-flow. And I don't think it only depends on what is inside it also depends on it build design.
  19. We're getting a Ryzen R5 2600, Crucial Ballistix Elite 3200mhz cl15 16gb
  20. Anyone used this case? How is it's air flow?
  21. I added the smile as a thank you.
