  1. My brother is running an Asus Strix 1080 ti with 8700k along with a ROG PG279Q monitor and is having some issues with constant screen stuttering in any game that he plays. He has taken the card back to where he purchased as it also had an issue with one of the ports being broken and it was sent back to the manufacturer and they have advised nothing is wrong with it apart from the port that was fixed. The screen issues continue to be a problem. The issues are not present if he runs his monitor direct of his onboard graphics and not the GPU but ever time he switches back to the GPU it starts again. If you restart the computer there is a time period of around a few hours to a day where it is generally fine but then the screen stuttering returns. I am wondering if there are other things that could be causing this that we should check/look into before trying to return parts. If anything else needs to be known about the pc please ask. Thanks in advance.
