  1. No I don’t really like Facebook I have account I will look into it thanks
  2. I’ll have to try either pulling the card or if there’s a PCI disablement switch on the mobo like the Evga p55 had? I didn’t look at the board that close yet it was a rush build
  3. I I will try that I have used a fiber optic cable to connect to a 7.1 receiver the only real reason I want a card especially with front ports and controls is for easy access to adding sound to video I shot with my drones. The rear ports are a pain when I switch equipment often, I used to had a nice CR card back in 2001 it had everything on the front but it was isa no mobos use that slot today I had klipsch pro media 5.1s it blew away most home systems back then.
  4. I have a old Xfi champion pcix with the 3.5” extension, that has never worked right it was hit or miss if the creative drives would see it? I got it from Newegg as a Refurb for $99 back in 2011 when it works it’s a great sound card but if it has a internal issue (shorted) that could harm my new build I don’t want to put it in my GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS MASTER! Anyone here have/had one of these cards? Did it give you issues? I know some people think the built in sound is ok but I need it for editing and other uses, if I don’t use it EVGA has The NU Audio card it’s a bit pricey.

Lol haven’t seen one of those in a while!
  6. I found another issue I cannot seem to fix and Gigabyte support is impossible to contact, I have a GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS W/i7-9700K with a EVGA GTX 1070 hybrid the CPU is supposed to have UHD Graphics 630? But when I try to install the Intel driver it says the CPU doesn’t have a GPU? Is this because I have a discreet GPU ? I thought it would work like my Dell laptop that has a GPU on the I7 with a Discreet Nvidia GPU and it would switch between them as needed, I don’t really need the Intel 630 but since I paid so much for the parts it should all work! I’m hoping I don’t have a bad CPU? Did I miss something in the Gigabyte Bios? How to I test the GPU on the 9700k? Sorry if it’s a stupid question that I missed something obvious? I heald onto my P55 a long time the Gen 1 I7 was working well for my needs and the Bitcoin price gouging kept me from wanting to upgrade anything until I could find at least a 1070 GPU for less than $600 I scored the GTX 1070 hybrid for $450.00 new from Amazon. So I went all out with this ! I was thinking about going to a X299 with a I9 but it’s too new I had tons of issues with the EVGA P55 I didn’t want to repeat.
  7. Here’s the specs of my upgrade from a EVGA P55 Classified, GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS MASTER, Intel Core i7-9700K, X2 CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000) Memory Kit Model CMK16GX4M2B3000C15, WD Black NVMe M.2 2280 1TB PCI-Express 3.0 x4 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) WDS100T2X0C, EVGA GTX1070 Hybrid, gold 750 w PS, the issues are as follows 1 can’t install W7 none of my keyboards or mice are recognized in the setup? I have several dell and a Logitech G600 mouse and matching keyboard (I needed W7 for media center for a Ceton tuner) 2 Windows 8 doesn’t recognize and drive it sees them even the WD NVMe but gives me a error when I try to install to them? I have installed W10 Pro with no issues so I don’t know what the issue is with the lower versions of Windows? I wanted to dual boot between W7 and W10. running 10 everything seems fine I looked in the confusing Gigabyte bios for a setting that could be causing issues but everything seems ok? I’m pretty sure W8 is supposed to be supported by this mobo? The SSD I tried in W8 is a Samsung sata EVO 256 gig. Any ideas how to get at least W8 installed? I have the media center upgrade key for W8 And once updated to W8.1 the Ceton card works fine. I don’t want to keep another system running just for the Ceton DVR. thanks.
