  1. How did you connected your monitors? Usbc>M1>dp out>dp in M2? Or usbc>dpin>dpout m2(as shown in YouTube video)?
  2. Did that too.. https://forums.lenovo.com/topic/anonymous/preview/1397/fqYKJJAwCUI posted
  3. Nope, no luck, I’ve ordered 10 and tested 10 of them, maybe thunderbolt 4 version could be the issue, but highly doubt as it’s short as hell and should work, additionally I couldn’t get any info about “what’s the version of TB in monitor itself”? can anyone tell me whenever my iris graphics support DP MST? I’ve connected both monitors through HDMI/USB-C and they work fine in triple monitor setup even, so it’s not a limitation on this side
  4. Yeah, tried both ports, doubt it’ll work through normal one. it’s a shame, I can’t figure it out..
  5. Hi all, I’ve just bought 2 monitors wishing I’ll have one plugged into my Lenovo Yoga L13 gen 2 equipped with i5 1145G7 through usb-c and other one daisychained through DisplayPort. On paper, it should work fine, I’ve connected thunderbolt 3 cable to one display, and I’ve managed to set up the monitors, although they can only be mirrored. I can’t see MST option anywhere in the options, I’ve tried to swap monitors around, connect them unlogically (like in this video displayport in into usbc monitor displayport out onto standalone monitor - doesn’t make sense but apparently works for him https://youtu.be/bBxy0jAnI2A ) only thing I could observe is that the standalone monitor only un-grey daisychaining option while usb c connected display will always have it grayed out, turning it on or off on the standalone monitor doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried to swap them out, as I’ve found out some of them monitors had different BIOS revision but they also seem to be the same product code Obviously I’ve tried to reset the laptop while everything is connected, turn off both first, while not second etc. I have latest drivers for intel graphics, and latest BIOS for my Lenovo thinkpad yoga l13 gen 2 the only thing I could think of is.. thunderbolt cable 3 instead of 4, but would it matter? Is monitor thunderbolt 3 maybe? It’s very short anyway and should output tb4 capabilities. It’s HPL60083-001 cable
  6. Hi all, I will run double P24h-10 setup - will my Lenovo output display through two USB-C ports? Or I need to run one in USB-C and second through HDMI? or maybe there is a chance of daisy chaining two monitors through DP/HDMI or something like that? Trying to remove as many cables as possible - like the idea of charging/displaying/usb hubbing through one cable
  7. Hi all, Not making a new thread, but changed my plans a little, will run double P24h-10 setup - will my Lenovo output display through two USB-C ports? Or I need to run one in USB-C and second through HDMI? or maybe there is a chance of daisy chaining two monitors through DP/HDMI or something like that? Trying to remove as many cables as possible - like the idea of charging/displaying/usb hubbing through one cable
  8. Yes, it doesn’t have HDMI Fully aware of that thanks
  9. Hi all, I want to plug 2 external monitors to my thinkpad l13 yoga equipped with intel (tb dp ready) wondering whenever usb c to DP work on old monitor (benq bl2410)
  10. Was a bad call, now in large games like MFS, forza horizon 5 I have textures pop up. Reminds me of playing gta v on hdd drive.
  11. I’m picking kioxia due to lower temps and since it’ll be in laptop it does matter, although little scared of performance. Thanks
  12. I see now The kioxia has only 19gb SLC cache, any idea what new PNY has got?
  13. Im just quoting what was said by community in here: https://www.pepper.pl/promocje/dysk-kioxia-exceria-g2-1tb-ssd-nvme-531621#comment-9806470 and here https://www.pepper.pl/promocje/dysk-ssd-pny-1tb-m2-pcie-nvme-xlr8-cs3030-530575#comment-9778945 Seems like PNY has cut down the drive, I just don’t understand why do you say it’s got better dram when it’s 512mb vs 1gb? Im no expert but seems like PNY has got better transfers, and kioxia should be more snappy due to more dram but please tell me whenever I’m wrong and which one shall I pick?
  14. So the kioxia looks like no brainer to me, it’s just the transfer which is half really and could impact future
  15. I know they don’t for now, but I want to keep the system for next like 5 years
  16. Hi again guys, I’ve already been asking a similar question but meanwhile my situation changed (got rid of old laptop and left 970 evo to a new buyer) buying new laptop which comes with trashy 512gb QLC drive so basically I have 2 “deals” on ssd right now: 1. PNY; I’ve got deep into specs and they swapped initial e12 and 1gb dram to: E12S + 512 MB LPDDR3 + 64l 3D TLC YMTC price: 83USD 2. KIOXIA Phison E12C + TSMC 28nm TC58NC1202GST NAND: Toshiba 112-Layer 3D TLC (4 x 256GB) DRAM: 1 GB Samsung DDR4 2666MHz K4A8G165WC-BCTD price: 74USD basically all I do is game and lurk web, however I always encrypt my drive it seems to me that kioxia has got better “specs” but worse controller 4v8 channels, and since games don’t need huge transfers what should I chose? PNY seems to be “mid range” and kioxia budget, but it’s newly released and has ddr4 dram. Which one to pick? also there’s that new “next gen consoles” a like feature coming to windows, hence why thinking maybe I need better transfers?
  17. But thinking long term, and free space related throttling, what would be better? If anyone knows what’s inside now
  18. Well, all the specs point e12 and 3d Toshiba tlc for PNY, so it isn’t any worse and saves me opening the laptop up, the size of both is as mentioned, 1tb I don’t really do all that much with my laptop, minor upgrade from i7 10750h 1660ti nitro 5 to Lenovo ideapad gaming 5 5600h rtx3060 (mostly for temps and dlss) as you can tell - almost 2 years and 10tbw laptop isn’t really used all that often, mostly for gaming im just wondering whenever they really swapped the internals of PNY, has anyone got a clue? In which case Samsung is obviously better, but if not, I could stick with pny
  19. Hi all, as mentioned above I’m wondering which drive is better? the price doesn’t matter (I’m swapping laptops, can use both, although 970 evo is approx 2 years old and 10.3tbw, runs extremely hot (70-80c) and here’s benchmark of it) Well, I’m paying around 84usd for brand new PNY but already own samsung im mostly concerned about pny changing the TLC to QLC (not sure, can somebody tell me?), they’ve supposedly changed tbw to prevent mining, but there’s been reports about much lower write speeds and dram reduced from 1gb to 256mb, possibly good e12 phison is replaced too what should I leave for myself? Samsung is just normal 970 evo without plus too.
  20. I mean, what kind of off topic is that, I know my local market more than you do 3070 is pretty easy to get (I’ve snatched it for him) and 5700xt gone up in price due to no stock. I don’t wanna argue about it. I’ll list it for £800-900 and will sell it for at least £800 trust me, otherwise I know it would be stupid to swap it
  21. I mean, as I’ve said - IF I can sell my pc for good price then I’ll do it. My friend sold 3600+3070 for £1200 so I could easily do £800 I reckon, with £900 being really good price
  22. Well if I would like to sell it quick yeah, I’m looking for 900-1000 and only if I can get that then I’ll proceed to switch anyway (prices are different in Uk by a lot, there’s literally no deals on Ryzen 3600 - it’s around 210US now and 5700XT) And that’s main reason I wanna do it - it’ll drop in price after availability goes back to normal I don’t have any blue ray discs and don’t plan to have, Netflix is a way to go. Yeah, I could trade the games, but as I’ve said - would just prefer the game pass. I have game pass on pc and it’s limited, example I can play Witcher on Xbox but can’t on pc, there’s a reason it’s cheaper for pc

  24. Hey, For the last few days I have been playing on my friend's xbox one x and I liked it. I used to have a PS4, so I was thinking of buying myself a laptop combo with 4500u ryzen for college work etc. (mobility was a big plus) + ps5 digital/xbox one x console. If I sell my PC (specs below), I'd be able to even save some money, and yet there will be two devices, I'll gain mobility of the laptop (which I'll need actually) and the console has 2 cores more, next-generation gpu RT and DLSS (maybe) with the same TFLOPs it means better performance of the console through optimization. In general, I will still have this laptop with 4500u for FPS low demanding games - some cs:go, lol, apex legends Now I have a big dilemma because PS5 Digital costs £100 less than Xbox Series X and will be available tomorrow for pre-order. The components are a little bit worse with the PS5, but it is cheaper enough (the most painful is 800gb ssd, instead of 1tb, gpu probably these 2tflops, so it will not make a big difference). The pad fits me much better with Playstation and in principle I would be willing to buy a PS5 Digital BUT realistically I can have the XBOX Ultimate Game pass at a price similar to the ps plus (20-30% more expensive for xbox ulti but much more games). PS Now as I read a little bit sucks. I'm not going to buy games, I like this subscription model very much - e.g. buy myself an xbox ultimate for 3 years (there is a chance that they change xbox gold to ultimate for £1, so just buy gold and "upgrade" - pretty cheap then). And, well, the XBOX has a disc reader, which I would rather not use anyway. Looking back at the history, PlayStation also retains its value in the second hand market. The Xbox One X costs practically the same as the PS4 Pro on the second hand market (where I live), and the Xbox One X was more expensive for the premiere - I can't hide the fact that it's also a little bit in my head and I'm bending over to the PS5 - especially since it has a built in microphone in pad. What do you think about it? Theoretically, they're adding this Ps Plus Collection to Plus now, so there's something to play with...
