  1. I'm bumping this because I just installed Horizon 4 and it's making my rig shutdown with a "The previous system shutdown was unexpected." as OP described. It's the only game that does it, and consistently. It runs outstanding otherwise. Temps are normal. I'm not ready to blame any hardware as it's been extremely stable otherwise. My guess is video card driver but I'm too lazy to try previous versions with the whole DDU process. I just went through that with AMD support trying to fix a different bug. Everyone in this thread that has the issue appears to have a 5700XT. Radeon 5700 XT Ryzen 3700x MSI x570 Gaming Plus 16 GB 3600MHz RAM Any luck @Grewsome?
  2. Are you sure it's the Power Supply? It's very common for video cards to have "coil whine" under load. My non-Ti 1070 does it, and I've had plenty of cards in the past do it. It's also harmless.
  3. That archaic engine, the one that is still in the DNA of modern FPS games, is open source and basically the perfect engine to pull off this style, for which there is a market. I'm not sure why you are so against it, it works, what's the big deal?
  4. Gamespot gameplay: https://www.gamespot.com/videos/wrath-aeon-of-ruin-exploration-and-shooting-gamepl/2300-6448662/ IGN gameplay: https://ca.ign.com/videos/2019/03/07/11-minutes-of-wrath-aeon-of-ruin-gameplay Coming to Windows, MacOS, Linux, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, Playstation
  5. I have one, it's no joke. It's a great NVME M.2 and it goes on sale frequently. They also have a new 950 iteration of it, so the 920's should be getting even cheaper. These are my results using a PCI-E Adapter. It was actually slower in some tests using my motherboard M.2 slot, but still good results. It's an older motherboard, so YMMV.
  6. Farming. Farming legendary enemies for the weapon I wanted, which never happened. Farming the most valuable crafting materials, server hopping for items, nuke zones, armor set pieces. It was just generally addicting, not too different from other loot grinding games. I was probably done with the actual content at level 100, maybe 80-90 hours in, with some exploration in there of course.
  7. I managed to put in ~200hrs into it through all the launch bugs (and existing bugs), but I'm done until some content drops. If you were to pay $20, and I wouldn't pay more then that, you'll have plenty enough content to justify that price.
  8. Rarely, basically only if I learn that there's been a big update, I'll go pretty hard at it for a couple days. I started very early on and went straight into hosting Minecraft servers and did so from 2009-2016ish.
