  1. On the backplate of my gpu its written Asus Dual RTX O8G means oc version of 2080 while when I took off heatsink on gpu chip it was written TU104-400-A1 and 400 means the chip is not oc version because oc version chip is labeled as TU104-400A-A1 so I downloaded bios of simple Asus Dual Rtx 2080 8G and was successful in flashing. Writing this whole stuff just because I was even unable to flash wrong bios with nvflash mismatch id disabled version. So it can help someone in future if any of you encounter this issue he should first confirm serial on chip. Lastly I thank you all for your precious time.
  2. After failing in this situation, I thought to try mu luck in Dos mode. So I made bootable usb and now it is giving me error no nvidia display adapter found.
  3. My gpu is Asus Dual OC and there are just 3 bios versions and all of them has same id see here https://imgur.com/a/OJr0oSk what should i do now which bios file should i get i am really confused
  4. I got it you can see here my gpu is of asus while bios is of this evga card see here in photo https://imgur.com/a/0tbAQDn
  5. OK thanks for your answer but my question is there.. how to bypass that mismatch id error?
  6. ok here is my simple question if anyone knows how to flash nvidia cards despite id mismatch error please let me know
  7. I don't know and that's the basic question that I am asking here because I have seen many videos about AMD cards people flashing different bios for mining purpose.
  8. no what i assume is that there is wrong bios flash by previous owner for mining purpose
  9. Few things that I noticed are that there are 3 bios version of my gpu on techpowerup and all of them have 1e87 as device id... secondly my gpu shows bios version as 90.04.0D.00.91 while there is not a single bios version on techpowerup that 91 at the end of bios version.
  10. What would you say about EVGA showing in subvendor while this is Asus Dual???
  11. Hello everyone! I have a little problem, you people know gpu prices these days... So I purchased a faulty Asus Dual Rtx 2080 that was giving error code 43 in device manager at really cheap price on a hope to make it work. Previous owner told me it was used in mining and I came up with idea that it might have have been flash with mining bios and flashing with its real working bios can solve issue. So coming to the point, in GPUZ under subvendor option it shows EVGA while its Asus Dual Rtx O8G. I downloaded bios from techpowerup and tried to flash it with following command ''nvflash -6 bios.rom'' but it gave me error that ''pci device mismatch with image id'' I have attached image of GPUZ as well as command prompt showing error. Kindly help me to figure put do I need to force flash it? or is there any hardware fault? https://imgur.com/a/6ZfnJb1
  12. Thanks for your time man I myself got the issue. It was lose pin and that's why I was getting low voltages
  13. End of the cable on 24 pin see here https://imgur.com/a/y7XhG98
  14. I have RM1000X and here is brief overview of issue: I bought this psu in used condition and first time I came to know that my psu is faulty when I used it with 980Ti and it crashed during games while worked perfect with 650w bronze psu. At another moment using this RM1000X two ram slots of motherboard stopped working however those slot started working again by themselves after a week. I sold that motherboard and purchased Z370 Aorus Gaming 7 with 8700K it was fine but upon using Rm1000x two slots stooped working immediately. So at this point I thought to analyse psu so I got a multimeter and checked voltage across 24pin atx and all other connectors that came out of it. HERE IS WHAT I WANT TO SAY: Every thing else gave me perfect voltages even two of 400v capacitors are also giving 402V each so both of them are also fine however I got 0.5V on one of 12V pin 24 pin atx and I mentioned it in below image. So my question is simple No.10 pin in 24pin atx is giving bad reading and psu crashes on load couple of times it created fault in my mobo ram slots. Capacitors are also giving 400V which is good then what could be the problem here with this 12v pin ? Image: https://imgur.com/a/CCOnyNZ
  15. ok guys thank you very much for your responses.
  16. I have faulty 1080ti with burned mosfets. Keeping in view the current prices of gpus I want to make it repair instead of buying new one. So I have attached photos of burn gpu as well as new one showing mosfets and their codes. Kindly tell me from where I can get these mosfets. Thanks My gpu photos: https://imgur.com/gallery/RFysGO0 Photos taken from internet to show model number of mosfets: https://imgur.com/a/PxmCUGd
  17. sir i tried every solution first there were several causes of crash including hardware acceleration enabled in softwares like photoshop, ms word etc. then i flashed it with bios from techpowerup website and now issue has been narrow down now it works fine even with hardware acceleration enabled. the only issue left now is maximum performance from nvidia control panel if i select optimal performance it crashes and if i select maximum performance it works fine. note: you said about ddu i even tried several version of windows and several drivers but still this issue is occurring with me. tried ddu every time when i install drivers.
  18. Tx750m 80+ gold. Psu seems good i ran furmark for 30min without crash played ac odessy for above 3 hours on ultra settings without crash. Gpu crashes only when core clock goes down.
  19. Strix 1080Ti Optimal/Adaptive Performance from Nvidia panel=variable gpu core clock= Crashing Issue Maximum Performance from Nvidia Panel=unifrom core clock at 1569Mhz= Stable system and NO crashing issue. Do you know about this kind of issue? GPU crashes when I select Optimal Performance from Nvidia Control Panel but it becomes stable when I select Maximum Performance. There is one issue and that is in Optimal Performance GPU remains at 139 MHz without load while in maximum performance it always remains at 1569Mhz leading to higher temperatures even with 0% usage.
  20. I have strix 1080Ti and and wan to use thermal pad by gelid ultimate which says that it has thermal conductivity of 15w much better than thermal grizzly. Just want to is it safe to use this pad? As I have heard that its heat sink is made of nickle coated. Idon't know much about corrosion etc. Need help in this matter. Thanks
  21. My Gpu causes random black screen in Optimal Power mode. But when I select Maximum Performance in Nvidia Control Panel it becomes stable. Is there any way to mod a Bios which automatically selects Maximum Power upon installation of new drivers even if we put card into any other system..?
  22. I even tried with 445 version of drivers the only thing that helped me is this attached photo.
  23. If you mean DDU it cannot help me I even reinstalled windows nothing helped me except marking checkbox in Internet Options which says ''Use software rendering instead of GPU'' it made my system stable but my question is that how to overcome it? Is it hardware fault? Because not all GPUs show this kind of behavior.
  24. Sorry I don't get your point what your are saying?
