  1. well, I tried that. It went through the error lights twice, and then booted up! It gave me the unoptimized setup warning, but didn't wait for me to accept the warning, and went to F1 for setup or F2 to continue with default settings. I'm not in windows! I guess the question is now, should I continue to run it like this? I assume not...could it indicate a bad RAM slot?
  2. Yes, I am using those channel. If I have the RAM in both, it won't get past the LED. if I have in DIMMA2 ONLY, it will get all the way through boot process and I can get to windows. I'll go into the BIOS and check the DOCP profile. I'll check this out...but I've reset the CMOS with no success for the issue. EDIT: followed the suggested steps, no luck. I did notice though, when i changed the settings in the BIOS for the ram, and then installed the second stick, it tried to boot twice, failed and sat on the LED again. It didn't do that before. Then I took the stick out and went back in to BIOS...and the settings reverted by to how they were prior....1.45v and 2600MHz.
  3. Hello Everyone, Just went to start up my PC for the first time, and the motherboard is stuck on DRAM LED. Here is what I've done so far: 1) unplugged 1 ram stick. system got into a boot state and asked if I wanted to reset some settings. 2) unplugged that ram stick, and tested the other one. same thing happens. it appears that if I have a ram stick in the DIMMB2 slot, the motherboard gets stuck on the LED, but 1 stick is fine (not bad ram, since both sticks work). Is the motherboard DOA? Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk max CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X GPU: RTX 2070 Super RAM: 2 x 8GB T-FORCE Vulcan Z 3200MHz
  4. Hi Everyone, has anyone had a bug where audio gets switched from headset to computer audio when playing Apex Legends? My discord audio and Apex audio will randomly switch outputs. Other games this does not happen (Anthem, League of Legends, etc.) Any ideas as to what might be causing this, or how to solve? Thanks!
