  1. I play AAA Games but also competitive ones like PUBG, CSGO, Rocket League, So, my goal is not only Ultra settings 60fps AAA games or 140fps Competitive ones it's a combination of both
  2. Yes, but i'd rather not, because the store that i am picking to buy the part's are from a national well known company, and going trough warranties is a pain in the a** if anything fails, so , if i have a problem with any of the components, i prefer to drive to the store and get it fixed.
  3. AMD Ryzen 5 2600X MAX (Wraith MAX cooler) - 239,90€ GeForce RTX 2070 Windforce 8GB- 559,90€ ATX MSI B450 Gaming Plus- 104,90€ RAM G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3000MHz CL16 Preta- 139,40€ PSU 650w 80+ Gold - 79,90€ Case with 3 front panel 240mm fans + 1 back 240mm - 50€ This build goes for around 1200€ I don't need Disk's as i have 2 500GB SSD laying around. I will run with stock cooler as it's proven to be somewhat decent and try to OC it a bit and also the RAM, planing to upgrade the cooler later with an AIO if the stock one doesn't take the OC too well. The thing is, i already own a Asus 1080p 144hz Monitor. I like to play AAA games but also competitive ones, so higher FPS the better. Is the RTX 2070 a baller move? Is it going to be super underutilized so it's a waste of money? (Should i go for a 2060 or vega 64?) Although someday i would like to buy a 144hz 1440p, but not on a short-term, and i don't want to feel like the build will suck until i do so. Recomendations? Thanks
  4. Yes, and No. Yes the pricing is horrible. but for comparison: RTX 2080: around 790€ RTX 2070: around 560€ RTX 2060: around 400€ So, for around 160€+ i would get a 2070 but from a 2070 to a 2080 is around 230/240€ Although, i considered the Vega 64 and the GTX 1660. But in my opinion the 2070 is bound to retain more of it's reselling price ( if i ever want to upgrade) and it's more future proof, since the vega 64 is older and the 1660 although much newer (released a week ago or something) will be much less popular due to it's bad naming and other factors.
  5. @NunoLava1998 Thanks for your answer, The thing is, in my understanding, isn't playing at 1080p going to stress the CPU much more (since it's a lower res), and not utilizing the GPU, Meaning lower frame rate and the 2070 beeing overkill?
  6. I don't mind ditching the "ultra settings part" just getting above 140fps is good for me, You mean the RTX 2070 beeing horrible, as in price? or?
  7. Hello, I've been planning to build a desktop, After a few weeks of planning, my best build for cost-performance (i live in Portugal) is: CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 GPU: GigaByte RTX 2070 MB: B450 .. Ram: 16GB (8x2) @3000mhz CL16 PSU: 650w 80+ Gold SSD ETC The thing is i already Own a 1080p @144hz Monitor and my goal is to play @ Ultra Settings above 144fps, and i'm afraid that, playing on a lower Res will make the CPU bottleneck the GPU. Any opinions on this matter would be greatly appreciated I also intend of buying a Cheaper End AIO water Cooler and OC the ryzen a bit.
