  1. I think it was mostly the firmware I downloaded. That fixed some of the issues.
  2. There is nothing in the software that i would consider giving an effect, since everything in that software can be found on the monitor OSD.
  3. Yes they are set to run at native, there are game settings such as "Response time" which i have set to "Faster", which is the fastest. There is also black stabilizer.
  4. I installed some of LG's software, the stutters in videos are fixed, latency feels normal, but in games it increases, even if the game is open in the background, i also noticed there's a "Adaptive-Sync (FreeSync/G-Sync Compatible) option in one of those softwares, and on the monitor itself, i played with that setting and noticed 2 things, with it off, i can't get the 75hz on the monitor i also noticed with it on, there is significantly more stutter in game, (valorant) when locked to 55 fps, to simulate adaptive fps. However, it feels much smoother and less latency with it off. I tried "overclocking" the monitor to 75hz and the same results occur.
  5. Yes it did. I'm using the DP cable that came with it.
  6. I've been getting used to it, but when watching YouTube at the 1440p resolution I keep getting frame dips to 30fps even though its a 60fps video, therefore making it more viable to watbh on my phone. I've also noticed that watching the live streamer "Wardell" at the maximum resolution also produces stutters, he does stream at 120fps, but this never happened before. I've checked my GPU usage, and it doesn't go above about 20% whilst watching.
  7. I seem to be getting used to it but it still doesn't feel as snappy as my old one.
  8. When i use the new monitor, yes.
  9. Its not the mouse, it's that it feels like it doesn't line up to the movement i'm doing, as if it's behind.
  10. It's running at 3440x1440 at 75hz
  11. I got an ultrawide yesterday, the LG 34uc99-w and since i started using it over my old monitor the samsung syncmaster s27b350, it feels as though my mouse is behind, in games it's even more noticeable. I'm using the same razer mamba tournament edition and my PC has a ryzen 7 2700, GTX 970 with 16gb 3000mhz RAM. I've turned on freesync on the monitor (I don't think it does anything) and i've turned it to the lowest refresh rate. Things i've tried: Messing with all the settings on the monitor Updating graphics drivers Swapping usb ports Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
  12. No one sees it through the tinted panel! Ram right now is a single stick of 8gb 3000mhz vengeance LPX, my motherboard is the asus tuf b450m-plus.
  13. Playing games like GTA and such similar games also recording games, what I have now (ryzen 7 2700 and GTX 970) isn't enough for what I want to run.
  14. I was thinking going all out some sort of 2080, maybe super? And a 3950x or 3900x, and more ram. I would want to keep the motherboard if possible. I have 550w power supply right now 80+ bronze. Yeah a little
  15. I've been thinking of upgrading my CPU, RAM and GPU, i will most likely need cooling for said items, i was thinking of an AIO but then was stumped due to the clearance between my motherboard and the top of the case. Can anyone advice of the best positioning for this. Case: Corsair Carbide 275r Planned AIO: Anything that's atleast 240mm, maybe 360mm? I am also considering filling all available fan spaces. I have attatched files of clearance.
  16. It's been about a month or two, all I've noticed is considerably higher room temperatures, other than that everything is fine, pretty sure my ram is holding me back though (I like having lots of things open)
  17. I pushed it to 3.9 and it seems fine on stock
  18. Yep, that's what I did, without reinstalling anything
  19. I don't know what you mean by swap, but I used the ones from my old build, since they were perfectly fine.
  20. Yeah, it's up and running, GPU drivers are 441.xx, didn't do any benchmarks, or atleast I forgot to, the only reason I thought of this is because most tech you tubers say stuff about reinstalling when upgrading
  21. I recently upgraded to an r7 2700, with 8gb 3000mhz ram, and a GTX 970. I used to have an i5 4460 with 16gb ram and a GTX 960. Now I'm wondering, since I didn't reinstall Windows, or ddu any drivers, am I at risk of worse performance or instability? I haven't noticed anything but then again, I don't know what to look out for. Should I reinstall Windows? Or will I be fine
  22. It was climbing, as was my room temp, ill do further testing tomorrow, probably with a window open so it doesn't get warm in my room
