  1. maybe someone here wants to ask why gigabyte has a ddr3 coffeelake board -https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Motherboard/H310M-DS2V-DDR3-rev-10#sp
  2. it only has an onboard gpu, the mobo doesnt support external gpu's, i have only one screen connected and only via dvi as its the only port thats posting, i also have now tried a 2nd keyboard and 2 no avail, i motherboard is essentialy a vegetable, alive but doesnt do much
  3. just for the record this is the 3rd mobo thats done this - never again will i buy ASUS
  4. normal ram i believe is set to 1.5 as standard, low volatage ram is 1.35 ram will be set to defualt along with bios defualt settings - have you reset the bios back to factory defaults and or updated it, could be bios firmware flash issue
  5. audio/mic as good as any earphones can be - its obviously not going to be as good as my cloud 2s
  6. if cash is a thing id go find a decent 2nd hand 1070ti as they run around the same price point as 1660ti and give the near same performance as 2060
  7. hdd for data storage , ssd, msata, m.2 for booting the os - if moneys a thing try a hybrid drive
  8. try the update assistant - you may think you have the latest os but it might not be the case https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=799445 only time ive had freezes is when ive dropped my cpu,had pins out of alignment on the mobo, or mismatched ram mainly voltage differences ie ddr3 with drr3l - im assuming youve done the obvious steps , checking everything over again making sure its all plugged and pushed in thoroughly?
  9. i have the same sort of usb bluetooth, mine was plug and play with windows 10 - 2 setup plug in the usb bluetooth turn off any bluetooth device the airpods are currently connecting 2 run a bluetoth scan to find them once connected just set as defualt device and communication device in sound settings
  10. ok so i have an Asus H81T with a weird posting issue - ( at this point id rather it would not work at all so i didnt get any ray of hope) Before i start all hardware listed below i have tested in other machines to verify they're working and all within the bios revision of the motherboard and compatible as i have built this machine several times before 2xMobo's each doing the same thing with same bios revision 5 x So-Dimm Ram sticks all of different voltage/speed/brand/type (ddr3/L)/ storage/ and config when placed together or separate in different slots on the board 2x CPU's - i5 4590 & i5 4670 both tdp 84w storage, hdd's/ssds & msata - speed/brand/type and config when placed together or separate in different slots on the board keyboard is a logitech k400 USB wireless completely universal and i know works with these boards changed swapped and reset batterys/cmos ect HDMI doesnt work for post, tired 1.4 and 2.0 cables and different brand tv's Dvi over a vga adapter is the only way i got some sort of post, however i cant access bios as it registers the keyboard but doesnt allow it to work
