  1. I have a friend that uses macbook for ios development and he uses around 12GB when having is 16GB (intel version though)
  2. Yeah that is true not gonna deny that. But still in real usage... 13 hours is more than enough.. My current laptop has about 6 hours battery and i am considering it good. So anything over 10 hours is more than enough for me.
  3. Well i am a Developer and not a Video editor or something like that. So i think those spikes with small bottlenecks when doing something intensive for longer period of time will be enough and will save me 400$ (when already paying a whoping ton of money)
  4. yeah, it will hurt my wallet a lot more xD, but i guess it will be a better option. Do u think M1 Air with 16GB can easily handle the app development using Xamarin ?
  5. Well i am using currently Visual Studio and i hope i will continue using it on new mac.
  6. Yeah i do. I already have powerfull windows pc, but i am often somewhere else than home. If it is a work meeting. School or anything else. Thats why i want my work machine to be portable, because i need it to be able to work from anywhere when i'l need it.
  7. Okay thank you for for advice i will see if i can found a little bit used mb pro for cheaper, because new m1 mb pro with 16GB / 256 ssd costs 2050$. Alternatively i might buy new m1 mb air with 16GB 256 ssd summaring for 1650$ which saves me a whoping 400$ (not bad for such a small differences)
  8. Probably like 300$ If it would be way better i would probably go with it, but if not i would rather keep those money.
  9. Hello i am gonna need to buy Macbook as a Xamarin developer that needs also way to develop for iOS. I am still choosing between Macbook Air M1 and Macbook Pro M1 (Probably gonna end up buying the Pro because of the better lasting battery). But my main question is about RAM. Does the 8GB vs 16GB makes a big difference ? I am using my windows pc with 16GB ram and my laptop with 12 GB. Should i opt for 16GB or will the 8GB do the job ? Thanks for advices.
  10. That makes me sad, because the Ryzen 3 2400G is great oportunity for an awesome Mac Mini, being reasonably priced and powerful
  11. Hey i am kinda new in hackintosh thing, but my question is: Is it possible to use AMD APU in hackintosh ? I am talking about Radeon Vega 11 used in Ryzen 3 2400G. I have read that it is possible but only with very small amount of VRAM (few megabytes). Anyone have some experience, tips or ideas ?
  12. it is dumb, but 800 lines isn't that much, but yeah, you can do it easier and they just wants you to use more lines. If i will need help i'l write you, thank you, appreciate it.
  13. yeah i am using express now, thanks. Well i know it's not the way to learn, but my requirements for the project is just 800 JavaScript lines and it felt in the time i don't have enough time to deal with node.js. But now it make obviously wasy more sence.
  14. i am just thinking about dumping the whole node.js and using php instead
  15. But how to send it to the server (node.js i guess?)
  16. Howdy fellas, i need a little help, let me explain my problem. I have a website where user can fill out some stuff and then send it to database. Problem is the connection to the database can be done in Node.js, but i don't really know how to connect it with the javascript or the html button, or simply how to do it, because i'm myself just learning in Node.js. It is my school project and i only have 26days left to complete it (still got lot of work to do). I appreciate anyone who can help, or even be with me in touch if i would need some help. If you need more information feel free to ask for it. Thanks everyone for any help.

  18. Because u told me to buy everything and better psu except gpu and i should wait a while and then get a bettter one.
  19. i've told it in comments sorry i guess

  22. and just gaming with 8GB is not almost possible on 1440p with few tabs opened.
  23. Chrome is constantly using a lot. When i need unity that needs something and sometimes after effect oof that hurts with 8GB ram..
  24. i've already told you what im buying.... i already have stuff like storage... when i will buy just 8GB or ram i wouldn't be able to do anything. Even that 16GB i've gotta upgrade later to at lease 32GB
  25. that's dumb because ryzen 5 2600 wouldn't run anything much better than vega 64 which is still fine for me cuz i want very high / ultra gaming in 1440p and also productive stuff as a programmer
