  1. I do not use them, and I never will. I did check the settings of the monitor, only audio related option is really the volume. But thats already turned to the bottom. Theres no way to disable audio in the monitor settings
  2. Yeah sorry, I did not see a way to move it. I did set it to default, but it always seems to override it.
  3. I just recently built a new PC, and I've never had this issue before on my old rig. Basically, what happens is that the monitor somehow ends up being the default audio device, over my headset (Steelseries Arctis 7) I've right clicked the monitor, and disabled it, but upon restarting, the monitor is always default, which it incredibly annoying. Is there something else I can do to have it permanently off, always? Running Windows 10 version 21H1.
  4. It has been this way for probably two years. And I've always kept windows up to date. I'm gonna try some things and report back.
  5. I have not tried a different cable. I would've thought that it couldn't possibly be that, considering restarting my computer would fix the problem temporarily.
  6. Hello there! I use a desktop pc, and I have fiber. Sometimes, I tend to download/upload stuff like most others. Motherboard: Asus z170-P I get this issue, where if I download/upload max speed, for a while (uses about 50% usage according to task manager at about 500mpbs). I get this icon, At that point, I'm unable to connect to the internet, and it plugging the ethernet cable out and in does not fix it. The only way to "fix" this, is to restart, but it ends up happening over and over, so it's not really a fix. I've right clicked the internet icon before, and tried using the network troubleshooter, or whatever its called. It tries resetting the driver, but does not fix anything. At the end, it usually tells me: Could not assign valid ip configuration, as well as another under it, something about standard gateway something.. I've tried updated my lan driver once maybe 1-2 years ago. And it didn't fix anything. I see the current most up to date driver is from 2015. Should I try one of the older versions? Is there something else I have to update? I play games, and I use steam too, another problem, but not as annoying is that sometimes the ethernet connection to my desktop stops, and comes back 10-15 seconds later. This usually always happens, and especially if I'm watching a youtube video as well. This can happen over and over, I've tried to limit the speed but it usually doesnt help much, unless I limit it by a lot, which it would honestly be better to just let it download full speed and time out those 10-15 seconds every time. This does not affect other devices connected to the same network, only my computer that has this problem. I have fiber, 500 up and down. I'm also using windows 10, 64 bit, up to date version. Anyone got any tips? Anything I can try? Thank you!
  7. My brother needs an upgrade since he currently has a OnePlus 2. I've been looking at some phones but I'm not sure yet. I've been looking at the OnePlus Nord, looks cool and good from what it seems. But I'm not sure how budget phones usually hold up over time. The battery needs to be big. 4000mah ish (the more the better). Fast obviously, decent camera. 1080P display or better. I've also been looking at the Galaxy S10, and OnePlus 7/7t He wants to spend about what the OnePlus Nord costs. So I'm just looking for options, any good deals and good phones that are out there that I'm not aware of. Buying a flagship phone from a year back is fine. As long as it's good. And, he wants an Android phone. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!
  8. I'm looking for a new TV, and there's currently two good deals on TV's where I live. Not worried about the price, but which one of those two TV's would you go for? Both have SmartTV, 4K, and lots of other technology and features. Which one should I go for, and why? The Samsung TV also comes with a "HW-R440" soundbar. Is this any good?
  9. Tried to ask support, but they weren't really too interested in doing that.
  10. I wouldn't be able to get the best performance I assume? Cause I have games on both accounts.
  11. I use two accounts on Origin (The game launcher), meaning I have to switch between the two. I'd like to be able to run two instances of the game, if possible so I won't have to log in and out every time I want to play a different game from my accounts. Is there a way to do this? I'm aware sandboxie is a thing, but it seems like it always deletes whatever that window had? Is there a way to make it save so I can just make it work normally like with one account? (Auto login whenever the PC starts) I'm not planning on running two games at once (not even the same game). But rather the launchers. Is this possible somehow? Thank you
  12. Looking to buy a 5 inch phone. I'm aware it's difficult to find such small phones today in 2019. Is there any good phones at that size? It's gonna be used as a work phone, but would be nice to get something that is gonna hold up for a while.
  13. My dad is looking for a phone, after having a Samsung Galaxy S5 for a long time now and being really slow for todays standards. I've been looking at some Xiaomi's, S8 (but I'm not sure if it's the best idea to buy a phone made with all glass) and the Samsung A50. The A50 looks great. A big battery, plenty storage, good screen, fingerprint reader, fast charging and so on. I think he mostly cares about a long lasting battery, camera and that it's quick (over time as well as he's probably gonna keeping it for a few years. The A50 uses the Exynos 9610 processor, I'm not too familiar with Exynos, Kirin and all the other processors. I kind of know what I should go for with Snapdragon processors, but I guess I'd like to know if I can expect the phone to be quick in 2-3 years time, with the Exynos 9610 processor? He mostly wants to go for used phones, so I'm looking at mostly last years budget phones. He's planning to use around 220 USD. (I do not use dollars, but thats what it would be in dollars). I would assume, if he's gonna buy used that you'd have to think a few houndred dollars less than retail value since it's used. Is there perhaps any other phones or brands I should take a look at?
  14. Never considered going for a single 16GB one. So basically, as long as its DDR4 and fits in and is 2400mhz, it should be good no matter what the brand is?
  15. My model has 8GB of ram, but I need 16 cause I'm gonna start studying. What sort of model does it use? Could I perhaps buy something similar to it or should I completely replace them? Edit: It looks like I've come to this. Is it a bad idea to pair it up with another 8GB stick? I use this website in my country, let me know what you think? https://www.komplett.no/category/11209/datautstyr/pc-komponenter/minnebrikker?nlevel=10000§28003§11209&cnet=Teknologi_A00056 §DDR4 SDRAM&cnet=Minnespesifikasjonkrav_A02004 §PC4-19200&cnet=Produktformfaktor_A00061 §SO DIMM 260-pin&sort=Price%3AASCENDING
