Yeah thats what I'm thinking. I've seen others have no problem running this game but they are using 980's and stuff with more vram.

What graphic settings are you using for blops 3? Currently I have a 3570k, 8 gigs of ram and a gtx 770 and the only way I can run this game smooth is 720p on medium settings. I feel like I should have a decent enough computer to run this game at 1080p medium settings for 80-120 fps which it actually does but fells laggy. Also, I have an Asus 144 hz monitor and I've limited the fps in game at 143 fps. Any recommendations would be helpful.

Then how about save $100 +/- and buy a used 4670/4690k? Its pretty hard to fry a cpu now a days.

if you're really worried about $30 then i'd advise to not drive that much for 1 week. Sorry but its kind of funny that you are worried about $30 when you will be using this PC for a minimum of 2 years?

Wish it would drop at least $150 and not just $50. That's pretty much a tank of gas for the week. When the 780TI came out it dropped the price of the 780 $150 and the 770 $50.
